Matt lease was up at the end of Month Sylvie was not moving in him just yet he rushed into that with Gabby and as they had only been dating 3 months it made sense right now to keep things how there where.
Also Stella had moved out into her apartment she felt it was time to move after Grant also Sylvie was at war with her landlord he was going to double her rent come the new year.
Another shift at 51 Matt and Sylvie drove in together as Sylvie had stayed the night at Matt's place Shay was waiting for her by the Ambo.
"Oooh stayed the night at Casey's again" Shay said
"Shay shut up it been good the last few months with Matt I know I been hard on you lot since Dawson died but your one off my best friends" Sylvie said
"So how did your family like Casey" Shay asked
"Oh they loved him especially my brother he loved Matt so much my dad put him to work on the farm and asked him questions about our relationship with was awkward" Sylvie said
"That what parents do speaking of which my family want to meet you I have said so much about my new ambulance partner they are keen to meet so next Furlough fancy coming to Austin" Shay asked
"I'll love to come meet them meet my best friend family plus I think they will be shock at how similar we look" Sylvie said
"Yeah but I think we look like sister I suppose we are given the fact we work in the same firehouse and all" Shay said
"I guess so but there only 3 women here me you and Kidd speaking of which my landlord is calling again"Sylvie said
"Everything okay" Shay asked
"No come the new year my landlord is double my rent I meant I won't be a problem if I had a roommate Stella move out a little while a go to get her own place I can just about afford the place on my own but in the New Year i won't be able to cover the new rent hike I have to find a cheap place to live" Sylvie said
Then when Shay had an idea she had a extra room at hers and Kelly place she be more then happy to help out her best friend and give her the room.
"Hey how about you move into mine and Kelly's place we have a extra room and your one of my best friends I would love to have you there" Shay said
"Thank you Shay that would be great I can tell my landlord I give my 30 days notice" Sylvie said
"Your welcome" Shay said
"Brett Boden want to see in his office" Connie said
"Okay coming" Sylvie said
Sylvie walks to Boden office.
"Hey Chief what's up" Sylvie said
"Hi Sylvie so you know how Chilli was covering for our PIC on third shift well unfortunately she had some furlough due to a family matter her sister died of an overdose in Kansas city would you mind pulling and extra shift until Chilli back you be paid double I have already cleared with CFD headquarters" Boden said
"Yeah sure I don't mind pulling an extra shift until Chilli back" Sylvie said
"Okay dismissed" Boden said
After Brett finished her meeting with Boden she when to the App floor to find Shay was doing so call paperwork.
"Hey partner What did Boden want" Shay asked
"Well you know Chilli the paramedic for 105l Sylvie said
"Yeah what about her" Shay asked
"Well she had to go home because her sister died of an overdose Well she was meant to be covering for the PIC on third shift so Boden as asked me to cover on third shift until she back" Sylvie said
"So double duty then" Shay said
"Yeah for both of us he wants the two us to cover third shift until he finds two new permanent paramedics" Sylvie said
With Sylvie and Shay pulling double duty it was now 48 hours on and 24 hours it was only temporary until Boden found replacement.
Ambo 61 injured person 21st district
When Sylvie and Shay got to the 21st district it was Antonio, who was injured.
"What happened" Shay asked
"Someone shot him as he was coming in for shift" Jay said
"Right to need to get him stable and get him to Med ASAP he as a gunshot wound to the chest and one to the shoulder" Sylvie said
"Right Brett let's get him into the rig are good behind the wheel" Shay said
"You know it i get you there as fast as I can" Sylvie said
Brett and Shay loaded Antonio into 61 Shay handed Sylvie the keys Med was 5 minutes away but Brett could get them there in 2 minutes she knew the fastest route.
While 61 were on there way to Med Matt had bought a house Sylvie had helped him pick it he wanted to ask Sylvie to move in with him.
