Shay had been helping Matt plan a proposal for Sylvie he want it to be the best it ever has been. He was doing at 51 since Dawson Sylvie was the only woman Matt wanted to spend the most time he loved her and he knew Dawson would be pleased for him Sylvie walked in the common room to see Matt and others talking Matt spotted her and it was the perfect time. He got down on one knee.
"Sylvie you are the most wonderful person I know you brought light back into my life at at a time when I really needed it I love you Will you Marry me" Matt said
"Yes of course I will Matthew Casey" Sylvie said
"Congratulations you both deserve to be happy and Matt I know Dawson would be pleased for you" Shay said

Everyone at 51 were happy for them and they could not wait for the wedding.
"Hey tomorrow night after shift engagement party at Molly's" Herrmann said
"Oh thank you Herrmann" Sylvie said

"Also 10% all drinks for the happy couple" Herrmann said

Shift had been fairly quite most calls for Ambo some for Truck and some for squad.
"It's quite Is it all like this" Jimmy said
"Don't say that word"Sylvie said the The bells when off
Ambulance 61 person injured.
Thanks tan Jimmy it now seems 51 we're expecting the shift from hell The Q word was something you were not allowed to say when Brett and Shay got back to firehouse the bells when off again.
Truck 81 squad 3 Ambo 61 house fire
51 is a busy house it right in the centre of Chicago so it the busiest in the district when the most calls but thanks to Jimmy it seems like the busiest shift yet.
2 hours later
As soon as everyone got back to firehouse the bells would go off 5 minutes later the calls this shift were no stop most calls were for Ambo.
Ambulance 61 Man down unknown causes.
"They playing my song" Sylvie said
"Be careful" Matt said
"Always" Sylvie said
Everytime Sylvie hopped into the rig Matt always got worried for his fiancée especially since the Lullo incident since then 51 were always monitoring 61 locations Shay and Brett hoped in the rig.
"So Leslie I have a question to ask you" Sylvie asked
"Yes what is it" Shay asked
"Will you be my main of honor" Sylvie asked.
"Yes of course I would be honoured" Shay said
"Your one of my best friends you have helped though tough aspects and showed and taught me how to be a good paramedic It had to be you I asked" Sylvie said
"Well Sylvie I would be my pleasures to be your maid of honour at you wedding" Shay said
"I know how much you care about me after the accident at Christmas when I was laid up for 4 months you kept checking on me when you were on shift and you helped Matt take care of me" Sylvie said
"See this is why we're best friends we care about each other tell you what let's me take you to lunch" Shay said
After dropping a patient off at Med the took 61 out of service for a couple of hours and they ate at this nice little Italian place.
After shift
Herrmann had organised the engagement party for the happy couple it was about time they celebrated something good after Gabby death The firehouse needed some good to celebrate.
At Molly's
The gang helped to put together the best engagement party for Matt and Sylvie after all they deserve the best.
Matt and Sylvie walked into Molly's
"Surprise" Everyone shouted
"Wow this is amazing thank you" Sylvie said
"Ok speech time" Herrmann said
"Okay Well thank you everyone for doing this also Matt you are the most amazing person I have ever met you have been my rock and I'm delighted to become your wife I love you so much and I'm so excited to share my wedding with my firehouse family" Sylvie said
"Sylvie I never though I would get past the death of Dawson but I was wrong you helped me get over her I just glad I get to start a new life with you I love you and always will your my best friend the one who understands me more then anyone else and I can't wait to make you my wife" Matt said
With speech is out the way everyone had the best time celebrating the newly engaged couple.
