It was the day of Jasmine's funeral all of 51 would be there the night before Sylvie had laid out the kids funeral outfits.
That morning Matt made Breakfast while Sylvie got the kids ready.
"Julie you need to get your outfit on" Sylvie said
"I don't want to" Julie said
"Juliette Casey don't argue with me it's Jasmine funeral now can you too while I go and help you brother and sisters" Sylvie said
Sylvie when to see Alex it turns out Taylor the kids nanny helped Alex and Kayla put the clothes on and also got 1 year Leslie ready.
"Thanks Taylor right you three Taylor will take you downstairs daddy has made breakfast while I help Juliette" Sylvie said
After finally get Juliette dressed they came downstairs.
"Coffee babe" Matt said
"Please we nee to get going soon the service starts at 10" Sylvie said
After Breakfast the Casey rushed out the door to the church they go there just in time.
The funeral Sylvie was trying to hold it together for her kids but broke down in tears when giving her speech this was not supposed to happen.
Everyone when to Molly's for the wake it was a lovely service and wake it gave the kids some closure and Sylvie to.
"Matt I been we need to get away for awhile me and the kids" Sylvie said
"Yeah a Little Holiday is just what we need right now" Matt Said
"Yeah well I was thinking one of our anywhere in the world adventures go away for two weeks before we both return to 51 and I was also thinking of cheering the kids up and getting some dogs" Sylvie said
"Great idea little trip away and get some pets to cheer the kids and us they had been to much misery in the last few weeks" Matt said
Getting away was exactly what the Caseys needed right a holiday to get away from the pain and loss of the last few months so once home Matt called the airline to tell them to pick a place do them to go they had also cleared with Boden that they would return to 51 after there 5 weeks hoilday which was perfect because they compassion leave ended in 5 weeks time.
Sylvie told the kids they were going on hoilday and to start packing the airline called Matt back and said they were going to.....New Zealand.
"We are going to New Zealand" Matt said
"I have never been there" Sylvie said
