Today was the day of Shay funeral because Sylvie parents were in town they would be babysitting for Matt and Sylvie while they were at the funeral.
"Jasmine Juliette you be good girls for Grandma and Grandpa" Matt said
"Thanks again Mom with Cindy going to funeral we couldn't get a babysitter" Sylvie said
"Oh it's a pleasure to see our granddaughters" Allison said
"Now we got it" Ryan said
"Thanks Allison thanks Ryan see you in a few hours" Matt said
Allison and Ryan Brett came to have a bit of family with Matt and Sylvie and they grandchildren it just so happened that Shay funeral was on the weekend.
At the church everyone was in there CFD uniforms look smart and the CFD chaplain began then he asked Sylvie to say a few words.
"So Leslie Shay was my partner on 61 for a few years when I started she called me farmgirl and I loved that we build a friendship Shay wasn't just my partner she was my best friend and I will miss her every day but I will make her proud as new Paramedic in charge on 61 and I will continue to work in your honour you threw me a party for my 1st birthday in Chicago and you were my maid of honour at my wedding Leslie Shah thank you for you duty it now over please return to quarters" Sylvie said
After her speech she burst into tears the service Finnished and everyone headed to 51 because Shay name was next to Gabby on 61 after the wake Sylvie and Matt headed home.
"Hey we're home" Matt said
"Hey guys how was it" Allison asked
"Dull but what do you expect everyone when to Molly's for a drink" Sylvie said
"Why don't you two go we will watch the kids for couple more hours" Ryan said
"Not thanks Ryan Sylvie tried she had a hard day" Matt said
"Okay well we're be off then we let you guys have some family time" Allison said
"Thanks for coming Mom Dad" Sylvie said
"Thanks for having us" Allison said
Mr and Mrs Brett headed back to Folwerton also Matt and Sylvie wedding anniversary was coming they had been married for nearly two weeks and also Jasmine 2nd birthday was coming up as well.
"We have so much to plan we have Jasmine second birthday coming up" Sylvie said
"Yes I know I can't believe we will have a 2 year and 6 month old" Matt said
Matt and Sylvie started planning Jasmine 2nd birthday
