It was second shift turn to work on Thanksgiving weekend it was first shift last year and third shift turn the year before.
Every shift at 51 worked at least one thanksgiving this year it just so happened to be second shift turn.
Matt and Sylvie had dropped the kids at Christie for the weekend they nanny had gone home for the thanksgiving weekend Christie knew her Sister in Law and Matt were working Thanksgiving weekend so offered to have Jasmine Juliette Alex and Kayla with and Violet for the weekend.
"Thanks for doing Christie your a lifesaver" Sylvie said
"Pleasure it will nice to celebrate Thanksgiving with my nieces and Nephew" Christie said
"Okay well bottles for Alex and Kayla are pre measured just add water they spare clothes for Juliette she get messy when eat and a bunch lot of toys" Sylvie said
"I got see you in the morning" Christie said
"Actually shift doesn't Finnished until tomorrow afternoon" Sylvie said
"Okay see you tomorrow afternoon" Christie said
Matt And Sylvie headed off to shift they just hoped as it was thanksgiving it would be too busy.
This Matt and Sylvie decided to put themselves forward for kitchen duty a rare treat for the house it was also the first Thanksgiving without Shay.
Because second were working thanksgiving weekend they also would have to work Christmas Day and New Year eve that was the schedule for this year.

Matt and Sylvie got into shift they were not happy that this they had to work on the hoildays but that the thing has a first responder you work hoilday sometimes.
"Morning Guys sorry we're late Chief we had to the kids with Christie" Sylvie said
"It okay I understand" Boden said
After morning briefing 61 got called out Matt always got worried when his wife was called out alone I wasn't so bad when they were together.
After dropping off a patient at Med Foster And Sylvie stop off for coffee before heading bafore heading back.
"So you and Casey seem very happy with each other" Foster said
"Yeah well he was the first person to make me feel very welcome when I first came to 51 despite the fact I accidentally slept with him the night before my first day" Sylvie said
"You slept with a one night stand" Foster said
"Look i had just left Harrison left Folwerton to come start a new life on Chicago I just happened to walk into Molly's bar on my first night met him got too drunk and slept with him" Sylvie said
"But you two are married now" Foster said
"Yeah because we decided to start over become friends then dated Shay was happy for me she was my best friend but myself and Matt are back in the house we want a bigger house the one we have is fine but we need more space" Sylvie said
Once back at the firehouse Matt was waiting for his Wife on the App floor he figured she gone for coffee.
"Hi Matt you didn't need to wait" Sylvie said
"Hey babe how was call" Matt asked
"Well let's say I never eating cranberry sauce again" Sylvie said
"Okay what" Matt said in a confused way
"Okay so 8 year old was trying to open a jar of cranberry sauce with his mouth got it stuck in his mouth thankfully we got out and too Med" Sylvie said
"Right definitely one of the weirdest calls I've heard" Matt Said
Sylvie Phone when off it a message from Christie
Hi Sylvie just wanted to let you know I more then happy to have kids tomorrow night you a Matt need a date night I drop then day after tomorrow
"Who was that" Matt asked
"Your Sister saying we need a date night after tomorrow so she offered to watch the kids and drop around the next day" Sylvie said
"Okay let's do it will be nice to get some decent sleep" Matt said
Matt and Sylvie started making lunch Matt And Sylvie very rarely cooked for the house Matt was making his corn beef for thanksgiving with Sylvie help.
"Whatever you two are cooking it smells great" Herrmann said
"Thanks I'm making my family famous pumpkin pie" Sylvie said
Then the bells when off ambulance 61 person unknown cause
"Guess I got to go" Sylvie said
"Be careful" Matt said
"It's sweet how he's worries about you"Foster said
"Yeah i love it" Sylvie Said
It has been a very busy shift for 51 61 had the most call outs all some Thanksgiving related incidents but everyone had enjoyed Matt and Sylvie thanksgiving meal they good.
It was only half way thought shift and 61 had been called out 25 times in 12 hours.
Matt was in his office doing some paperwork Sylvie soon joined him they had a busy day tomorrow with house hunting and date night.
"What was the call this" Matt said
"Thanksgiving prank gone wrong" Sylvie said
"Your exhausted I got Boden to take out of service for a few hours get some sleep" Matt said
"Thanks Matt" Sylvie Said
Sylvie fell asleep in Matt's quarters it turn off the light and when to go a cigar chat with Severide.
