Aiden's POV 3rd person limited
I grasped my garland and gasped as Aru walked down the stairs. I almost fainted when I saw her. She was wearing the most stunning lehenga ever, had beautiful mehendi and was wearing a beautiful gold necklace. Of course, Vajra was wrapped around her wrist, disguised as a bracelet to go with her dress. I glanced around at all the guests, including everyone from the Otherwold and our followers from Wattpad and Fandom, and took a silent picture of her, making sure no one was looking. Though I DID feel like someone was watching me. A/N: EVERYONE!!! Especially me! I was fangirling! DUH 🙄
TIME SKIP TO THE VOWS
We walked around the sacred fire, our clothes tied. I was suddenly reminded of the time when we trashed a wedding when. We were 15! I glanced at Au, and the smile on her face told me that she was thinking the same thing.
I promised to take care of Aru, our children and the family. In return, Aru undertook the responsibility of looking after my home and my food for the first vow.
For the second vow, I promised to protect Aru under all circumstances. In return, Aru promised to stand by her husband, me, through my agonies and ecstasies.
Next, I promised to work hard to earn enough wealth for the family and in return, Aru promised to effectively take care of the income and expenses.
For the 4th one, I promised to entrust the responsibility of his household to Aru and respect her wise decisions (A/N: haha TOTALLY) regarding the same. In return, Aru promised to fulfill her duties to the best of her abilities for a respectful living.
For the 5th vow, I promised to consult Aru in all important matters. In return, Aru promised to support me in all my endeavors.
For the 6th, I promised to remain committed and loyal to Aru besides considering her alone as my wife. She in return promised to remain faithful to her husband, me.
And lastly,I promised to lead my entire life with my bride, who is not just my wife but my friend forever. In return, Aru too promised to spend her life with me until the very end.
In the end, we both garlanded each other at the same time, which represented the acceptance and union of our ceremony.
"Mein tumase bohot pyaar karata hoon, meree raanee" I said to Aru as she blushed. A/N: Translation: I love you so much my queen.
"Mein bheen bohot pyaar kartee hun, mere raaja" She responded. Translation: I also love you a lot, my king.
When we kissed, the whole place erupted in cheers. We broke apart but weren't ashamed. PDA was fine, we were married.
WE WERE MARRIED!!
So, that is my 2nd favorite so far. How 'bout you?
