AS REQUESTED AGES AGO.

ARU POV
I walked down the hallway, pausing to admire myself in the mirror. It was Diwali, and all the potatoes were coming over to do pooja and celebrate! I was wearing a black lehenga skirt with a gold blouse and lightning bolt patterns on the skirt where Vajra was hidden(just in case).
I twirled around, closing my eyes. I opened them later and grabbed the celestial lipstick. I applied it and smiled, twirling my paronda around, mimicking Madhuri Dixit from Hum Apke Hai Koun.
I walked down the stairs, carrying rangoli packets in my hand.
Opening the door, I saw Aiden across the street. He was wearing a dark black kurta, just like the one he wore on the day he told me he regretted our first kiss. Funnily enough, the sun was doing that annoying thing(AGAIN) where it seemed to illuminate only him. He smiled at me from the door of his house, looked left and right, then crossed the street.
He reached and hugged me from behind, kissing my head. I twirled around and we shared a long, intimate kiss. After that, we broke apart, blushing, and started making rangoli together.
When Mini, Brynne, Rudy, and the othe Potatoes arrived, I jumped up and hugged everyone and dragged them in.
Together we lit diyas and shared delicious food lovingly made by my mom, who had left for a business trip/ overdue honeymoon with Dad in the morning.
A/N:The sleeper is alive and good
Once we had all eaten our full, I pulled out the dessert. Even though we were all full, the mouth-watering jalebi, gulab jamun, kaju katli, and more were too tempting to resist. So we ate.
Later, we went laughing into the theater room. I put on the Ramanand Sagar Ramayan episode where Ram and Sita get crowned. After crying at the emotional scenes, we put on Ram Setu. Me and Aiden curled up on the couch, him putting his strong arms around me and me nestling my head on his shoulder.
Similarly, the other potatoes were coupling up and getting comfortable, ready to watch the dramatic movie.
During the end credits, I , like always, fell asleep, but just before I did, Aiden kissed my forehead and whispered,
"I love you, and our love story will be immortal."
"Just like Ram and Sita's"
