Aiden's 3rd person Limited POV
He walked through the aisles, looking for something good. He tried on nice sherwani after nice sherwani, but nothing seemed right. His mother had handed all the Indian groom's clothes she could find, to no avail.
Finally, she gave up. "Come on, beta," she said. "None of these are just right for your wedding with Aru," she squealed. "I still can't believe that you are getting married though! They grow up so fast!" she sighed.
As they got in the car, all he could think about was Aru. She's so beautiful . I still can't believe that we are going to be married in a week!!!! He thought while looking at his gigantic album in his camera labeled Aru Shah ❤️. He scrolled to his favorite picture, a selfie with her. They had unicorn horns and rainbows coming out of their eyes like their friends Neel and Kiran had suggested. A/N: Sound familiar? 😉
His mother interrupted his thoughts by saying, "Why don't we go to Nikita's place? She'll have something good for sure!"
"'Kay, mom," he replied, surprised that he had not thought of it before.
TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT NIKITA'S PLACE
Aiden rang the doorbell. Ding- Nikita didn't even let the bell ring properly, she just opened the door super fast and ushered them in.
"Were you, like, standing next to the door, waiting for us or something, Nikki?" Aiden asked. "Maybe," she replied, flashing a ClassicNikitaSmirk™.
After a lot of trying, Nikki almost gave up, but Aiden begged her to try just one more time. She obliged and after a lot of concentration, she brought out a beautiful sherwani. A/N: It is the one in the picture at the top. "Try it on!!" Nikita and Malini squealed.
When he stepped out, his mom's eyes widened and she smiled. "You look amazing, Aiden," she said.
Aiden walked to the mirror and looked at himself. He had to admit, he looked pretty good. "Thanks so much, Nikki," he exclaimed. "What do I owe you?"
"Oh, pish posh, you don't owe me anything. Just treat Aru properly, Wifey, or else me, Sheela, Brynne, Mini, Rudy, and our parents will be after you!" she said menacingly. "Other than that, you're good!" she said cheerfully, smirking at Aiden's scared expression. A/N: How many times will she smirk? Like OMG!
He changed back into his old clothes and walked out with the wedding dress in his hands. When they reached home, he dashed upstairs to his room and looked out the window. Aru was looking out hers too. He smiled at her and blew her a flying kiss, then lay on his bed, his mind full of Aru's beautiful face. I love her, he thought.
With that, he fell asleep.
