Basically Aru is SUPER SMART! Mini and Brynne and Rudy, etc don't exist, and Aru wants to be a scientist who studies electricity. She gets into college early, without Aiden, and he confesses on her last day.
Then they meet at college, etc.

A tear dripped down my face. I looked around at the mountains of books in the Harvard library.
What was it all for? If only I could have brought him with me... I thought , staring down at Aiden's beautiful picture.
"We were high school besties, till that one fateful Valentine's Day."
