Chapter 3

As they walked to the shoreline Ao'nung had stopped But Eaylu would have continued walking..

She noticed Ao'nung wasn't walking with her and remembered he was carrying her bag of all the fish she caught.

She turned around to see Ao'nung speaking to Tonowari. She saw Ao'nung hand the bag of fish to Tonowari. Tonowari would have a proud look on his face patting his shoulder. She had then realized what just happened.

Before she could interrupt them Tonowari had already walked off and Ao'nung was walking towards her grinning.

"Thanks for waiting!" He said.
"Where's all my fish that I Caught?!" She said looking at him annoyed.
"Oh.. I must've-" before he could finish she had walked away rolling her eyes.

"Woah wait up!" He shouted running after her grabbing her arm and turning her towards him.

She yanked her arm away from him and gave him a annoyed look.. "Was the only reason you took me hunting with you just for so you can give it to your father as your own?!" She said upset and angry.

"No wonder you didn't bring anything because you wanted me to do the work so you won't have to!" She shouted at him!

"That's not it! I genuinely wanted to hang out with you!" He said with a
guilty.

"Sure you did!" She'd roll her eyes at him and walk away
Before he could try and make up with her Ronal had called him over.

She would sit on the sand AGGRESSIVELY Stabbing the sand with the knife she caught the fish with until a group of Metkayina boys approached her.

She had looked up at them pissed off already.
"Can I help You?" She Said standing up.
"I mean you can help me by touching right here!" The Metkayina boy said pointing to his chest.

She didn't think much of it and walked towards him and touched his chest. "What am I trying to feel?!" She said annoyed
"My heart.. it beats fast when I'm around hot girls.." he said as he smirked holding her hand there.

His words shocked her. She yanked her hand off and backed off.
"Go away!" She Said annoyed
The boy then walked infront of her holding her shoulders

"Why? Don't you like the attention?"

"No!" She said pushing him off her.
"Come on.. we don't bite!" The other boy said also walking towards her
"Back off! If I can smell you your too close!" She said sarcastically

"Ohh shes spicy" one said
"Just how I like!" Another said

One boy would grab her arm pulling her closer..
"Come on just a little taste?"

She pushed him away hissing at him.
"Gross!" She said annoyed
"I am not in the mood for your bs!"

They all would start walking towards her before a forest boy interrupted.

"Leave her alone!"
She recognized that voice. She turns over to see Neteyam pushing them away from her.
They all end up fighting! Neteyam punches one. One punches Neteyam blah blah blah!

She cuts in pushing them all away! She had hissed at them all except Neteyam.

"Come on! Your defending this forest freak?"

"Yes! Id rather defend him then a bunch of lonely pervs!" She shouted at them.
"Run along pervs!" She said to them smirking as they all walked off.

She had noticed his busted lip and bloody nose. She grabbed his arm and walked towards her Mauri.

He looked shocked.
"What are you doing?" He asked curiously as he was being practically dragged by her.

"To clean you up of course!" She said to him smiling at him.
"You helped me so I shall help you forest boy!"

"I have a name you know!" He said giggling under his breath.

"Yes I know but forest boy suits better!" She said giggling.
He laughed aswell.

Once they got to her Mauri she sat him down. He watched as she was looking through her bag.

"Whatcha looking forrr?"

"The ointments my mother packed for me!" She said annoyed as she couldnt find them!
She had finally found them and lays them neatly on a wooden platter.

"Y'know my mother is Tsahik!" She said proudly.
"Oh really? So does that mean you are the next Tsahik?" He said curiously

"I don't know.. I really don't think Medical work is fun" she said as she unpacked all the meds.
"Why not?" He said amused

"Well I don't want to be patching up every Skxawng that gets in a fight! Like you" she said smirking

"Haha very funny!" He said sarcastically.
"I did just help yo-" he was cut off by the pain of her touching his bruises.

"Sorry.. just need to know what I'm working with.." she giggled awkwardly
"It's fine I have a high pain tolerance!"

"Oh really?" She poked his bruise, He would flinch..
"Very high tolerance huh?" She said sarcastically.

"Okay okay.. You got me.. I'm sensitive alright?" He chuckled..
She laughed at him, She started wiping up the blood from his nose. She would apply the ointment as gently as she could.

"Ow!" He winced in pain..
"Sorry sorry!!" She would blow on it.
"What are you doing?" He whispered
"I don't know? Is it helping?" She whispered back
"Yes kinda!" He whispered
"Why are we whispering?" She whispered curiously
"I don't know!" He said laughing at her

"There you go mr-sensitive all fixed up!" She said giggling to herself.
"Thanks!" He rolls his eyes.
"I should get going to my family's Mauri before dinner!" He said
"Okay!" She Said packing up her Ointments.
"We should hang out sometime!"
"Sure!"
"Okay bye Eaylu!" He said walking off waving!

"Goodbye!" She said waving and smiling!

He's so different from any other boy I've met.. He's so respectful.. Yet also funny and goofy! I can tell he has a great heart!- she'd think to herself before getting interrupted by Tsireya walking into her hut.

"Hi Eaylu!" Tsireya Said smiling!
"Hi tsireya!" She Said Finishing putting her stuff up.
"What was Neteyam doing here?" She asked smirking at her..

"Oh.. he got in a fight so I was just helping!" She said rolling her eyes.
"Just helping?" Tsireya said looking at her.

"Well it was because of me so.." she said

"Because of you?"

"Well.. It was just a bunch of boys being annoying a pushy.. he just helped is all so I returned the favor!" She said

"Sure.. Anyway.. what happened between you and Ao'nung?" She asked curious.

She was annoyed just hearing his name. Who does that?! She thinks to herself.

"Well.. He took me hunting then forgot the bow or spear so I caught every fish with my knife! Then he turned it over to Tonowari saying it was him!" She said upset and annoyed..

Tsireyas face also looked annoyed.

"I am sorry for my brother! He's just lazy and annoying!" She said

"But he did want to hang out with you."

"Well it won't happen again. I won't be used by any man!" She said.

"Good for you girl!" Tsireya said laughing.
