Eyalu

Chapter 26

Eyalu was sat in the sand by the shoreline, as she rocked her baby to sleep.

She then heard someone approaching.

She turned he head slightly seeing it was her mate.

"If you have come to yell further I suggest you leave, I just got her to sleep."

He went to sit by his mate on the shoreline, letting a loud sigh out.

"Im sorry.."  He apologized, Only to receive a cold turned head, As his baby laid asleep on his mates chest.

"I just.. I'm overwhelmed.. I didn't expect for all this to happen so soon.."

She turned to him with a shocked expression"you didn't expect for all of this to happen so soon?! How can you say that when you rushed me into starting a family!" She said in disbelief.

He looked at her speechless

"Do you know how important today was? For us, For our daughter!!"

He bowed his head in shame.

"I don't understand how you can just miss your first born child's meeting with Eywa!"  She said.

"I.." He was speechless, he had no excuse to say..

"Im so done." She said in frustration. He then advanced up, and walked back to her Mauri with her baby, leaving her mate in his own thoughts.

"Im such a terrible father.. how could I miss my own daughters meeting with Eywa.. I have to now on make it up to her." He said in his thoughts.

He then walked back to the Mauri, opening the curtains she purposely closed, To see his exhausted mate asleep on the her rug, as his child asleep aswell.

He closed to curtains behind him, to then bend down and lay next facing his mates back.

As he begins to fall asleep, he felt his mate unconsciously roll into his arms, His face turned to a slight smile as he wrapped his arms around his mate.

As they kept each other warm throughout the night as they all slept peacefully.

"Mother.." Neteyam Said, As he was helping his mother cut some vegetables, as Jake held and played with Kamari.

"Yes Tey?"

"I messed up.. And I don't know how to make up for it.." He said.

She sighed, Putting the knife down. "Son, if I am honest with you, I would be pissed to if Jake missed your first meeting from Eywa." She said, getting interrupted "I didn't though!!" Jake shouted.

Neytiri let out a small chuckle. "He didn't, But you should start with pitching more with the baby, from what I have seen.. Eyalu is the main one dealing with the baby!" She said, as she gave her son a disappointed look.

"How?" He asked

"How? You asked for a baby but don't know how to take care of one? My Eywa" she complained.

Neteyam gave his mom a "really" look.

"Give her a break, I mean she constantly giving you breaks, For example.. the day of Kamaris Ceremony.." She said.

"I will bring it up to her." He said as he continued to cut the vegetables up.

Neytiri put her hand on her sons hand, stopping him from cutting the vegetables.
"If you ever are struggling you can always come to us! I mean you did have a baby quite young!" She said
