Chapter 10

Eyalu was dancing with Tsireya, Ao'nung and the rest of her friends..

A Metkayina boy turned to her asking her to dance. She nodded and went to dance with him. She was absolutely black out drunk-

As she was dancing with the Random Metkayina boy, They were Interupted by a strange figure coming and pushing the Metkayina boy away from her.

The Metkayina boy pushed The boy back.. it leading into a fight.. Eyalu was so shocked and drunk she couldn't recognize the boy fighting the Metkayina boy..

Eventually it was broke up and Eyalu got a clear look at the boy.. It was Neteyam.. it angered her.

So you can dance with other girls but I can't dance with other boys?!

All of a sudden she felt someone grab her wrist and pull her away from the party.
She stopped and yanked her wrist back.
"What is your problem?!" She said angrily.

"My problem?!" He said
"Yes your problem damnit!" She replied

"Since when did you start flirting with boys?!" He said aggressively.

"Since when was it any of your business?!" She tried to walk back to the party but was interrupted by Neteyam grabbing her by the waist.

She was shocked by his sudden mood change.
"Get your hands off me!" She rustled around escaping his hands on her waist

"You switch up so fast! You say you'll be there for me while I am sobbing on the ground giving me comfort,
Then you kiss me making me think your into me, THEN completely ghost me and avoid me!" She shouted at him.

"Making me feel as if you aren't into me and just felt pressured to kiss me,
And now your confusing the hell out of me!"

he advances closer to her trying to give her a hug.
"I-.." before he could finish his sentence he was cut-off.

"You said you would be there for me!"

"I know-" he said

"You said you would be there for me!" She repeated herself in a louder tone pushing him away from her.

"And you weren't there!" She yelled, Before she could even realized tears already started coming down her face, Moving so fast like a river.

He was stunned by the words she said, By the tone of her voice he was frozen, filled with guilt, As he saw her so upset it hurt his heart, It hurt is heart even more knowing it was his fault.

"Eyalu I- I'm sorry" he stuttered moving closer to her trying to comfort her.. but she moved farther from him.. Eventually walking away.

Once she felt as she was far enough away, she bursts into tears.. Hiding her face as she was trying to get to her Mauri..
She was so hurt and upset by the way he acted towards her she didn't know what to do.

It was a couple days later.. Eyalu almost never left Her Mauri, The only time she would go out was to sit by the water and watch as the waves moved.

One night Lo'ak noticed her. He walked towards her and sat by her.
"Hey"
She ignored his presence hoping he would disappear.
He tapped her shoulder getting her attention

"Boy what do you need?!" She said in a rude tone
"Damn what did I do?"

"Sorry- I'm just not in the mood to talk." She said looking back at him.

"That's okay I'll just sit here with you!" He smiled at her.

It took only 10 seconds for Lo'ak to get bored and open up his mouth again-

"So what are we watching exactly?-" he said in a low tone.

She glared at him in annoyance.
He laughed awkwardly-

"Seriously Lo'ak, what's bothering you?" She asked

"Nothing! I swear- I am just worried about you Is all" he replied

"Worried about me? Why?"

"Because you have barely left your Mauri after the party a few days ago"

She looked back at the waves.

It was silent for a second.
"Lo'ak."
"Yes?"

"If a Girl Said she was there for you at your hardest time, then kissed you, But then avoided you and LIED and left you at your hardest time."
"How would you feel?" She asked curious.

"That's oddly specific-" he replied
"Just answer the question!"
He laughed at her short Temper

"Honestly.. I don't know,
Probably Really upset and hurt. But I would also want the answer to why." He said

She processed what he had said.
"Lo'ak could you do something for me?" She smiled mischievously.

He was slightly afraid "what's up.."

"Go to your brother and ask who he has interest in, And then come and tell me!" She said excitedly, As she thought it was the perfect plan that can solve all her problems!

"No need, I already know who he likes." He replied

"Really? Tell me!" She said

He suddenly got really nervous. "Oh- um- I cant! Private information sorry."

She was annoyed by his answer. "Boo you whore!"
She got up and starting walking back to her Mauri.
Lo'ak And also got up and went to walk by her.

"Why do you wanna know anyway?" he smirked
"Sorry! It's private Information." She put on a sarcastic face on mocking his words from earlier.

He laughed with her. "You got me there-"

"So what do you think about my brother?" He asked smirking

"What do you mean?"

He thought for a moment.
"Like how would you describe him with 3 words?" He said smiling.

She thought for a moment, She then came up with the perfect words to describe him.

She stopped and stood in front of him "Alright open up you ears!"  She grabbed his ears and flapped them like an elephant, He then smacked her hands off his ears, Rubbing them a bit.

" A lying man-whore!" She said with a bright sarcastic smile on her face.
He was shocked by her words he couldn't even find a response to say back to her.

She then walked off laughing to herself in secret. She had noticed Neteyam watching them from behind a tree.

Lo'ak then walked to Neteyam shaking his head in disappointment.

"What did you do bro.." his face gave away all the information Neteyam needed. He sighed to himself.
