A Few Weeks Later —

I was ready to tell Will. I had to tell him about John and I. Tonight they were throwing George a birthday party at the cavern and Larry said he'd tag along with me. While I was there I was planning to tell Larry about myself and John so that he would tell Will, at least I hoped. Myself and Larry entered the cavern and the first person I saw was John, our eyes locked and he winked. They were all playing up on stage, some family and friends of Georges were there along with some fans.

"How old is George turning then?" Larry asked

"Eighteen, finally" I laughed, not really paying much attention to Larry

"I thought he was eighteen, how else did he get to Hamburg?" Larry questioned

"They got away with it until something happened and the Germans figured out he was seventeen, that's why George got deported," I looked up at Larry who was processing the information

"Why did Paul and Pete get deported?" Larry inquired

"They lit a condom on fire outside the club," I shrugged casually

"Like I said, they're immature," Larry sighed rolling his eyes

Larry and I stood up front watching the boys, every now and again John would looked at me, smile, and then keep playing. I still wasn't completely happy with John, but tonight wasn't the night to go any further with our argument. Eventually, they stopped the show and Paul started talking.

"So for little Georgie, who is no longer little, it's eighteen tosses in the air for you mate!" Paul laughed as John, Paul and Pete grabbed George and started swinging him in the air eighteen times

"Watch them drop him," Larry smirked

"Don't say that, you'll jinx it," I hit his arm playfully

"You're just superstitious," Larry chuckled as they placed George back on the ground and I felt a tap on my shoulder

"Ruth love, be a dear and bring the cake up to George for him blow out his candles," Asked Georges mother, the only reason she knew me was because my mum and Georges mum grew up together and have tea every Sunday either at mine or Georges surprisingly enough.

"Oh sure," I smiled

She handed me the cake as I walked up to George as everyone was singing happy birthday, he smiled at me and I smiled back then when the song ended, he blew out his candles in one swift blow.

"Thanks Ruthy," He gave me a kiss on the cheek and I handed the cake back to his mother, then they boys started to play again.

"You have an eye for any of 'em?" Larry asked with a chuckle and nudging me with his elbow

"I have for a while," I blushed

"Which one?" Larry asked cautiously

"That scruffy one on the end," I answered, biting my lip.

Larry raised his eyebrows "John? Out of all of them? John?"

"Yes, there's some irony there, isn't there?" I snicker

"I have the right mind to smack some sense into you, literally," He sighed heavily

"Relax would ya? It's not like I just robbed a bank for Christ sake."

"Fine. It's not like you're together or something anyways," Larry laughed, but stopped abruptly and looked at me. I bit my lip and smiled at up at him. In which he shook his head in disbelief.

"How long?" He questioned

"Few months,"

"How many?"

"Five.."

"Five?!" Larry exclaimed

"I didn't want to tell you guys, I was afraid you'd send me back to Liverpool without finishing the Germany gigs," I put my hands up in defence watching Larry's eyes roll

"How are you gonna tell Will?" He asked, I looked at him with a small smile and he shook his head

"oh no, I'm not doing it," Larry protested

"Please Larry, I'm still gonna get killed for it by him either way" I added tangling my fingers together

"Ruth," Larry whined

"Please," I begged

Larry sighed, "Fine, but you owe me, and I'm talking to John after the show."

"Deal," I smiled shaking Larry's hand

I looked back up to the stage and John gave me knowing look. I laughed at his gestures and continued on with the night.
