We docked in Hamburg a few hours later, got off the boat and headed to where we were staying. It wasn't the best but it wasn't terrible either. The room wasn't big but it had enough potential to hold the five of us. The sound of the busy street outside didn't fail to pass through the thin brick walls, along with the music that was filling the dingy, smoke filled club.
"This is our room," said Will placing his bag on one of the four beds
"Somebody is gonna have to share a bed with someone else." Roger stated
"Wow, thanks for the information that we all can clearly see," Denis said sarcastically flicking the back of Rogers head
"Watch it," Roger scowled as his hands darted to hit Dennis back
"I think I'm gonna go check out tomorrow nights gig, I mean it's 9 right now so I should be back by twelve," I said placing my jacket back on
"Okay, don't talk to strangers." Larry warned, pointing hi finger at me.
"Be careful, we need you," Will said seriously
"I will mother," I rolled my eyes playfully as I shut the door behind me.
I walked down the street to the venue I I saw on the way in, a club called The Kaiserkeller. I entered the club and I noticed a bunch of men whistling for a woman on stage flaunting her tits. I shoved through the crowd and found myself near the front of the stage as the girl sauntered off wither her clothes bunched up in her arms. When she left the band made there way onto the stage and started talking towards the audience, and with a swift count to four the were off preforming.
I realized it was the Beatles, could pick them out easily from left to right, John, George, Pete in the back, Stuart and Paul on the far right. I watched them goof off on stage then play their next song, it went on like that in all their shows. They were better then I remembered, though through that whole song my eyes kept drifting to John and then we made eye contact, we locked eyes for a few seconds then he winked and looked away. They took a break at midnight, when I was supposed to be leaving. But I couldn't help my curiosity and decided talking to them wouldn't hurt. So I headed back to where they were taking a break.
"Bloody 'ell," Paul let out a long breath as he took a sip from his beer
"Tired?" George asked
"Yes, all that singing has me beat. Night after night of the same bloody thing." Paul sighed
"You're singing from your throat, it won't hurt as much if you sing from your stomach," I smiled leaning in the door frame
"Yeah, and who are you?" Pete asked nodding his head up
"Ruth, I'm here with a band from Liverpool."
"Are you the girl playing with The Mersey royals?" Stuart asked rather politely
"That's me," I winked at Stuart as John popped up
"You're unwanted shorty, beat it." John said
"Turn off the act Lennon, you don't scare anyone," I sighed
"Oh really?" John asked with a beer in his hand and his eyebrow raised walking up to me "Who do you think you are coming over here and telling me how I should and shouldn't act?" He asked with a smug smirk
"No one really," I smiled
"How old are ya?" John questioned
"Eighteen," I smiled
"You're only a baby," Paul laughed
"Says you," I scoffed
"Come back when you want to really talk, because I know right now its obvious you're just here to check us out." John smirked
"Fine, but don't expect anything else," I smiled tracing John's jawline with my eyes
"I'd be lying if I said I'd never dream of it," John smiled cheekily scanning me with his dark eyes carefully
"I may be young, but I'm not stupid when it comes to boys like you John, you don't fool any one with this image you portray yourself as, you're all soft on the inside" I stood up as tall as I could manage, "See ya boys," I smirked and walked off.
"John, what just happened there?" Stuart asked
"Do you think they sent her to distract us?" Paul asked
"Probably," Stuart chuckled.
