Chapter 29: The Birth of Goten

Nine months later...

Tengoku went to the hospital with her mother who is in sudden labor. However, Raditz was in the waiting room, waiting for his niece and nephew to be born.

Also, he learned that he and Launch are going to have a baby together. Although Launch was eight months pregnant and had one more month until the baby will arrive. Now Chichi is the first woman to give birth to a baby, next is Bulma who almost reach nine months, and then his wife Launch. Although women are bossy and he knew they had to go through pregnancy.

Right now, Tengoku was standing beside her mother who laid on the bed, giving birth to the baby. She could tell she was screaming in sharp pain. The Ox-King was there for them as well.

Chichi screamed, "Goku, you bastard! You did this to me! Leaving me pregnant all alone with Tenny and Raditz!" She cried out, "When you come back to life, I will personality kick your ass for leaving us again!"

Tengoku looked away as she sweatdropped.

"You're almost there, honey. The baby is almost out." The Ox-King assured her, comforting Chichi.

Chichi screamed in pain again.

"One more push and the baby is out!" The nurse said.

Tengoku held onto her mother's hand tightly, gritting her teeth and closing her eyes sharply as she waited for the end.

Chichi screamed again until the baby popped out. Finally, they heard the baby cried out for their first breath.

"Congratulations, Mrs. Son, it's a boy!" The nurse said happily. After that, she cleaned the baby up and passed it to Chichi.

All three of them looked at the infant in joy as they exclaimed. They could tell the little infant looked like Goku with his hair.

"He's handsome... just like his father," Chichi said in joy as she wanted to cry so badly. The baby reminded her of when Tengoku was born.

"He sure is, Mom," Tengoku said, smiling.

"What should we name him, honey?" The Ox-King asked his daughter.

She smiled at them and then looked at the baby. "I think I'm going to name him Goten."

Tengoku smiled as she smiled at her mother. "I like that name, Mom."

Then Raditz came to the room with the nurse who told him the great news and saw Chichi was holding an infant baby close to her.

"Hey, guys. The nurse told me the news that you had given birth to a baby boy. I want to congratulate you, Chichi." Raditz said.

"Thank you, Raditz. You should be staying with us for a while. After all, you're part of our family." Chichi said happily.

"Well, Launch and the baby are not the only ones to be part of your guys' family as well," Raditz replied, rubbing the back of his head. He came close to them and looked at the baby boy, "What's his name, by the way? Do you give him a brilliant name?"

"We named him Goten, Uncle Raditz. He definitely looks like Daddy." Tengoku said.

"Goten, huh? Such a proud name for a warrior. It sounds like you were named after your daughter, Chichi." Raditz said.

Chichi giggled. "Yes, and that is why Tengoku is a brave warrior just like her father. And I am proud of her."

Then Tengoku smiled and hugged her mother, making sure she doesn't hurt Goten. "Thank you, Mommy."

She nodded in response to her, giving her a kiss on the forehead and then Goten's. Everyone is happy together now the family was complete but Goku was not there for them sadly. However, Goku was still watching over them from the Other World.
