The Dragon Team are still searching for Spopovich and Yamu when they come across a spaceship and watch secretly as Spopovich and Yamu meet with Pui Pui, followed by the Demon King Dabura and the wizard Babidi.

Babidi took the energy the two fighters have brought to him and killed them, which horrified them, except Sesshomaru.

Shippo was horrified as well. "What kind of people do they have to kill their partners!?"

"Hn," Sesshomaru said.

Dabura smirked, sensing something. "Now let's begin." He said as he clenched both of his fists, unlocking his power.

Shin blinked, worried.

Vegeta panicked. "He knows we're here!"

Everyone panicked. After sensing the hidden Z Fighters, Dabura and Babidi planned to lure the Z Fighters to drain them of the energy needed to revive a powerful foe shown sealed in a pink ball. Dabura engaged the Z Fighters and easily killed Kibito in the process.

"Kibito!" Everyone screamed.

After brief fighting, Dabura managed to turn Krillin, Piccolo, Nappa, and Shippo into stone with his spit.

"Guys, no!" Tengoku cried out, didn't expect to see them turning into stones.

"Guys! Hang on!" Goku shouted as he learned and tried his best to save them, but they knew it was too late to save them. They already turned into stones.

"No, guys!" Goku cried out.

"What's happening to them!?" Raditz shouted. Then Shin explained to the remaining Z Fighters that the only way to have Piccolo and Krillin restored to normal was to kill Dabura.

Dabura finally retreated to the spaceship leaving the remaining Z Fighters wondering what to do next.

Shin explained that to return Krillin, Shippo, Nappa, and Piccolo to their normal state they must defeat Dabura.

So Shin, Tengoku, Goku, Raditz, Sesshomaru, Kirara, and Vegeta entered the ship to stop Babidi's plans and avenge their friends.

Inside the spaceship, Pui Pui explained that they must defeat three fighters to get to Babidi and that he was the first. The Z Fighters agreed and used the Rock, Paper, Scissors method to see who will fight Pui Pui, and Vegeta won.

Babidi teleported Pui Pui and Vegeta to Pui Pui's home planet since the planet has a gravity of ten times the level on Earth to give Pui Pui the advantage. However, Vegeta, being accustomed to training at least 450 times normal gravity, easily killed Pui Pui with little effort.

On the next level of the ship, it was Raditz's turn next to fight a monster called Yakon. After a brief skirmish, Babidi teleported them to Yakon's planet of darkness. Yakon was able to eat light energy, so when Raditz turned to Super Saiyan to see, Yakon began to eat his energy and became even more powerful. However, Raditz used this to his advantage, generating more power than Yakon can handle by transforming into his Super Saiyan Two form. This caused Yakon to eat so much energy that, as a result, he exploded.

After that, Goku and Tengoku congratulated Raditz for defeating Yakon. This caused Vegeta to realize that Goku and Raditz have also surpassed the Super Saiyan limits.

on the third level of the ship, it was Tengoku's turn to fight Dabura as he was the third remaining warrior protecting Babidi.

They were transported to a mountainous range and engaged in battle. At first, Tengoku was a little rusty with her fighting skills, allowing Dabura to best her for a while until she transformed into a Super Saiyan Miko and became roughly equal with Dabura.

Doubtful of Tengoku's ability to beat Dabura, Vegeta argued with Goku that he wished to fight Dabura himself and Goku told him not, but Vegeta refused, saying that he came to the World Tournament to defeat Goku.

Dabura noticed the argument and asked Babidi to teleport them back as the match between Tengoku and Dabura was canceled. Dabura told the others that they must get prepared for the recruit before going to see Babidi.

Dabura told Babidi about the discovery, which will give the sealed ball full power and Babidi thought that this is a brilliant idea.
