The carriage rattled into the cottages driveway at quarter past twelve.

Andromeda was not surprised to see that Pandora and Laurie were with Sonoma.

With a quick "hello" and a wild chase for tea and tea leaves, the girls were gone into Sonomas room.

------------

'I have no clue if you got it right or not, but I think you're getting better?' Laurie said with a shrug.

Pandora smiled and wrapped an arm around Sonomas neck.

'Well I bet she got it right. What does it say, noma?'

'Err..Its says something about the... moon? And it is going to be very soon?' Sonoma says, staring intently into the cup.

Laurie frowned.

'Maybe somethings going to happen at the Lunar Festival? Like, after the power trials? That's pretty soon' She says, yet she knows that there's a low chance it meant that.

'Yeah, maybe...' Pandora replies, but her eyes are busy observing Sonomas trembling arms.

'Maybe we should stop now, we've done loads. Want to break into the moonstone graveyard?' Laurie says, pretending to stiffen a yawn.

'That's a terrible idea. I'm in' Sonoma raises her head as she speaks, and she's smiling now.

'Let's go then!' Pandora chimes.

-----------------

The three teenagers stepped cautiously over the graveyard ruins.

'I don't get it' Laurie says all of a sudden.

'What?' Her two friends reply in unison.

'The story of the Moonstone witch' She continues, glancing around around make sure they were alone.

'I mean, a very powerful witch just disappears after drawing a spell that no one knows to this day? Did the witch herself even have a name?' She adds.

'Good point. Maybe, the council were so afraid of something, that they kept the truth under closed doors?' Pandora says.

They turn to where Sonoma had been, only to see that she was no longer there.

They began to panic, but that was soothed over when she yelled for them to go to her, she had found something very, very interesting.

The two friends ran over the Chapel, where Sonoma was.

When they pushed open the large marble doors, that swung shut behind them, the saw her standing petrified in the middle of the room, facing the other direction.

'Guys'

Her voice is merely a hushed whisper.

Fear sparks in Pandoras chest, soon alighting a (metaphorical) fire that spreads to Laurie.

Sonoma turns to face them, her already sickly pale face utterly devoid of colour.

Without speaking, she holds up a chain. It swings from left to right, and there's a little gem, shaped like a crescent moon hanging from it.

It's a Moonstone crystal.
