Sonoma groaned from her place on the chapel floor.
All sources of light had been knocked out, the same way the teens had been scattered and thrown about.
'Is everyone okay?!' Pandoras voice echoed from the end of the Chapel, right beside the door.
'Yeah"
'I'm good'
'Alive'
Sonoma cracked a smile. Atleast they had survived that.
'Everyone head to the alter' Laurie's more mature voice came from the top of the Chapel.
It wasn't hard for Sonoma to get there. Seeing as Aster had found her after she had responded to Pandoras question, and they had crawled toward the alter together.
Moonlight flickered through the windows.
The flames outside had faded to nothing. They would have escaped if they were not so suspicious.
The four teens shuddered as thunder rolled in the sky above them.
'Guys....What time is it...?' Aster whispered.
'It is...' Sonoma glanced at her dim watch. '....Twelve o'clock on the dot'
Everyone froze.
'No...no...We're doomed!' Pandora threw her head against the marble floor, hissing in retaliation when a spark of pain lit in her head.
'Right, we'll die. It sucks, we know. But we can atleast try, giving up is worse then going down fighting' Aster says, firm determination in his tone.
Sonoma smiles, and squeezes his hand. The contrast of their interlocked hands, deep tan and pale starlight.
'We need a necromancer. It's a spirit, no doubt' Laurie confirms there suspicions.
'We don't have any necromancing daisies laying around' Sonoma replies, annoyance in her tone.
'What about Aster? What does the enchanter do?' Pandora poked him pointedly on the chest.
'I'm a cosmic enchanter' He deadpans.
Sonoma snorts and shifts closer to him.
'Right, We're unlikely to survive this. But we have to try' Laurie decides.
'That's like, less heroic version of my awesome speech' Aster rolls his eyes playfully.
'You just got twelve times cockier' Laurie says.
'Guys, stop your childish bickering. We need to do something' Pandora finally says.
Sonoma hasn't spoken on the new matter, which is starting to confuse the others.
She stands, towering over the others, who are kneeling around the alter once again.
Her pale hand ghosts across the page of the parchment Laurie had brought, and she hands it back to her friend.
This simply confuses them more.
She now stares at a scroll, it's twisted words bringing a craving for the moon and its magic to pull into her chest.
'I have a plan'
