Not your typical romance

Who could this be. Part 2

Sasha POV (age 7)
I cannot wait to see Jake and Susan. I miss them so much. Grade 3 was awesome a really great teacher this year. I can't believe that this school year has gone by so fast.

We finally get to the cottage. I jump out of the car immediately to check if Susan is there. But my dad says "Hold up there, we still need to unpack." I slowly trudge back to the trunk of the car and reluctantly take out one of the suit cases. I have to do a lot of the work because Matt is still too young to do anything. He can carry the pillows but theres not much else he can do at the age of 4.

After I unpack I speed down the pathway straight to see Susan and Jake. I stare at the uninhabited cottage. Still the same. I knock on the door of the Susan's place and she opens it and yells "SASHA!!!!! We've missed you so muuuuuuch!!!" "I've missed you too!!!!" I say. We sit down on the porch just to chat and see what's new.

We talk for 20 minutes when she says " ooh I almost forgot. This is really exciting! Our cousins are staying over for 3 weeks. I want you to meet them" I ask "when are they coming?" Suddenly a red mini-van pulls up and parks near the uninhabited cottage. " well they're here now" Susan says.
We both jump up to meet the family. The first one out of the van is a girl about my age with long blonde hair. She is a little plump but with a very happy look to her. Next a boy that comes out looks about 10 , I assume its her brother and the first thing I notice about him is that he is gorgeous. He is a good height and thin. But he has curly brown hair and a cute mischievous smile. And then the parents come out.

"Hi Susan, It's been such a long time since we've seen you. Oh who's your friends here?" Says Susan's aunt. "Hi aunt Erika, hi uncle Bob, this is Sasha. Sasha this is my uncle Bob and aunt Erika. And these are my cousins Brandon (she points to the boy) and Robin" (points to the girl)
Robin walks over to me "hey there Sasha!" She offers her hand for a hand shake. I shake hands still fairly shy. I hear Brandon say "hi" and he flashes me a smile. I melt on the spot. I wonder if he can tell I'm blushing.
"We'll be waiting outside and stuff, so Brandon, Robin come get us when you settle in" says Susan. "Sure thing" replies Robin. As they enter what I thought was the inhabitable cottage. So that's where I assume they'll stay...

Susan and I set up the volleyball net so we can play 2 on 2. When Robin and Brandon come out we divide the teams Susan and I vs Robin and Brandon. We play, it is an even game but nobody keeps track of the score because its just for fun. Susan and I do some good plays, but Brandon is good at spiking. Jake come in at about 10 minutes into it. We switch teams so its boys vs girls. We win but still they make a good team. They kept on bumping it barely over the net so it just made it and we were too far to get to it in time.

I show Robin, Brandon, Susan and Jake around our cottage and I introduce them to the family. I think they are going to be a great part of the new bunch.

The next day we all go swimming at the beach which isn't too far from the cottages. And with luck it's wavy so we show them triangle rock! The waves were huge and to challenge it more, we decided to all stand on it at once. There was barely any room we were all cramped together. But a HUGE wave came and swept everybody off except Brandon, I was in the midst of falling off but at the last second he grabbed me before I could land in the water. I smiled at him and he smiled back. Then we both helped people back on the rock because the rule was you couldn't swim back the others had to touch you to get back on. And we did this over and over again. Everyone helped everyone. But Brandon kept on catching me :) I do believe I have fallen for him. I can finally stop thinking about Jake.
