Sasha's POV (age 9)

Once again a new summer. After unpacking I run down the hill with Matt by my side. Our feet 'thump' against the ground as we sprint to the cottages below.
"JAAAAAAAAAAAKE, BRAAAAAAAAAANDON." Matt calls out. He always hangs out with the guys and we really likes spending time with them. I yell out "Susan? Robin?" And almost instantly I see all of our friends running out of the cottages to come greet us. Everyone except Brandon. We jump around and hug just because we're so excited. The energy around us is pumping with exhilaration.

Some time later

Susan handed me the script. It was about sword fighting. It seemed a awesome. This year Im casted as one of the sand minions that keeps coming back to life. I get to wield a katana blade. Brandon and Matt are also sand minions and we get to do a bunch of scenes together *booyah*
It's about 2 protagonists that are both skilled in fighting. (Jake and Susan) when Jakes 'sister'(Robin) gets stolen by the villain he fights to get her back. But meanwhile we are trying to kill them both.
Apparently I die like 3 times so that's going to be fun. :p. Next I look at the props. The katana ill be using looks very cool and realistic. I need to learn the choreography for the sword fighting scenes but I'm sure it'll look amazing!

We're all talking and goofing around when Matt runs up to Robins cottage. I look to see why until Brandon comes out.
He walks over to us.
"Hi" he says. I almost don't recognize him. His voice change dramatically. It used to be high pitched but now it dropped. And I was dumb-founded. But I said "hey, what's up" without tying to sound too awkward. He seemed pretty nervous knowing that we'd react differently. But I try to put it behind because its a natural part in life. So we all hang out.

Narrators POV
For the next couple of days they all filmed and had fun. They swam and ran. At night they stayed up late around the Bon-fire eating s'mores and playing tag, truth or dare and piggy back races. By this time it has been 5 years and Sasha had really started liking Brandon. Even though she wasn't good at admitting feelings she kept it a secret. She knew if she told it might ruin their friendship forever.
