Ep 23: Island of Darkness

(Y/n)'s POV:

A bit later, my uncle asked all of us to go into the bridge. I noticed my mom was there and had a scroll in her hand, “The scrolls say there is a hidden temple on the island. If you find it, it will give the ninja pure elemental powers, powers that can destroy the indestructible army.” she said as she lay out the scroll again.

“So you're saying we get to fight? Whoo-hoo! I've got happy feet!”  Cole said with excitement, I chuckled at the response, “Of course you do. But not as much as I do.” I whispered. I think he heard me, because he looked at me and mouthed the words ‘I’ll see about that’.

“And you, my children, here it is written: ‘For once the Green and Gray Ninja finds the instrument of peace, they will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master'.” she explained.

“More power..?” I asked myself in a whisper tone, “Ultimate Spinjitzu Master?” Lloyd asked. If I know anything about power, too much can make people go crazy.. Sometimes others wanted even more power, “It means you two will be able to invoke the power of the Golden Dragon, an ancient fighting style only practiced by the First Spinjitzu Master.” mom said.

Everyone was shocked to hear that, “Hahaha. Jealous?” Lloyd said, he said it like he was one of those ‘show off’ people, “I would say the same thing but- EH-Hahaha!” I was talking until Lloyd tickled me for a second.

“You bastard.” I whispered to him, he gave me a smile. “Uh, wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?” Kai questioned.

“The catch is, the Temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this.” Uncle said while holding an item in his hand then Dr. Juilen took it from his hand.

“A medallion. It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden.” he explained.

“Uh, how'd you know that?” Jay asked, “Oh, I did a lot of reading in my spare time, *chunkles* Adventure stories were my favorite.” he said.

“Then what are we waiting for?” Zane said as he took the medallion from his father, we started to get up and walked off but uncle stopped Lloyd and I by grabbing both our shoulders, “Not you two.” 

“Ah, seriously? Are we still doing this?/Wack, just utterly wack!” we said simultaneously.

“Wu is right. If you two were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the Final Battle. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks.” mom said, I sighed, she’s right..

“Hahaha. Jealous?” Jay said the same thing back at us, I think he really meant it for Lloyd.

Lloyd sent him a glare, I only chuckled, “Eat your own words, bro.” I smiled. “Well, I could use some help around the shop. We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance.” Dr. Julien said, I nodded.

“Remember, Garmadon doesn't know we're on the island. It's imperative that you stay out of sight.” Uncle stated at the four, “Of course, Sensei. Don't worry. Have you ever known us to veer from a plan, huh?” Jay said, we all give him an unamused expression.

“Ninja-”

“Shh! Not so loud. Are you trying to get us caught?”

“Go…”

“Idiots.. Lloyd, how much you wanna bet that one of them is gonna mess it up?” I turned to him, I could see in the corner of my that the four like a bit taken back by it, “I don’t know..-”
