I know, I know. I been gone for a while. I took a break, and I missed writing fanfic's I feel like I'm not good at writing this story again. So I apologize if this chapter is bad. I took a break during summer and didn't came back until today. I'm slowly coming back, school been tough so I might upload slow. Sorry in advance. Anyways I hope you it.

Ep 27: The Surge

(Y/n)'s Pov:

After that surprise I got when I was in the bathroom, I told my father everything about what happened in my dream. More like a nightmare... In my room where I think it's safe to talk about it in.

He was shocked to hear that he died in my dream, who wouldn't?!

He asked me if anything else happened. I told him yes, I told him that mom stabbed me and... Killed me.

This made his eyes widen in shock. He then asked if I saw anyone, the person who gives me nightmares. I shook my head no. I kinda lied.. I told him that I didn't see anyone or heard the guy that usually spoke to me.

This made his suspicion go up just by looking at him. I guess he dropped for now.

So I didn't tell him that the Overlord is back and so is Kumori. Well he kinda doesn't know who Kumori is so it doesn't really matter right now.

Anyways, he told me if I ever have another nightmare and if anyone shows I would have to tell him. I nodded in agreement. Then he asked if I was okay.

I sat on my bed, "If I'm being completely honest... I don't know. Does being scared and confused count?" I asked while looking at him. He sat down next to me, "Of course it counts. That's just telling me that your feelings are okay or not at the moment..." he gave me a small smile, I turned to him and smiled back then looked away.

He put his arm around my shoulder, I sighed once he did that. "Am I a burden dad...?" I asked out of nowhere but at the same time it didn't sound like me. He looked at my sudden question, "What makes you think that?!" He asked.

"I-I dunno.. I just came out of my mind out of nowhere." I said.

3rd POV:

Out of nowhere, (Y/n)'s body was slowly turning small with a light gray color light shining on his eyes.

Garmadon was moved and freaked out a bit, "What...?!"

It was revealed to be Kumori. The small kid with the purple hoodie and black jeans. "(Y-Y/n)..?" Garmadon asked, "I'm not (Y/n), dad.. It's me, Kumori.." the kid said.

"Kumori..?" He questioned, "Right.. (Y/n) hasn't talked about me..." they said with a sad tone, they sat on the bed.

"No, they have talked about you. A few times. After-"

"Doesn't matter anymore... Now answer my question." they tried not to sound like they're demanding. "What was the question again..?" He sounded a bit scared but he tried to push it down since he doesn't want them to think that he doesn't like them or anything like that.

"Am I a burden...?" They repeated themself. Garmadon shook his head, "Why would you think of that?"

"Because I'm evil.. I did bad things and made (Y/n) do them without them realizing." They said and looked away. Garmadon then their shoulder which made them look up at him, he gave them a small smile, a soft, kind one.

"Just because you did some bad things in the past, doesn't mean you'll still do it. As long as you learn from your mistake then it should be fine.. Not only that, I believe there is some good in you.. Just keep trying and you'll see that you've changed." He smiled. "And to answer your question, no. You are not a burden. No one is. Don't ever think that you are. And if you want, you can always talk with me about it and I can see what I can do to help you, see that you're not, Kumori." He added.
