Ep 24: The Last Hope

(Y/n)’s POV:

When the guys came back, they tackled me on the sand and said ‘how dare you!’ and ‘why did you leave us?!’ I couldn’t help but laugh at their expressions. But I did apologize, and they said it’s fair that I do their chores when this is all over. I guess that’s fair..

At this point I probably don’t know what counts as fair. They just want me to do their chores..

Now I’m laying down next to a palm tree with my arms behind my head and shades on my eyes. I’m relaxing a bit, I haven’t had a little nap break in a while.

“Order up. Coconut cream pie. Served well done!” I heard Kai say, I opened my eyes even though I have shades on, to see him throwing a coconut and exploding it with his fire.

“It is good to have our powers back.” Zane said, “Yup, you're right. And since we've all been working on our witty quips to follow every cool thing we do, I'd say we got this final battle in the bag. Or should I say…” Jay said and signaled Cole to launch another coconut.

“...I'd be shocked if we lose!” Jay finished his sentence. “You guys should stop. I have a feeling that sensei will yell at you all.” I said, they all turned around to look at me. “When did you get here?” Jay asked, I pulled my shades up, “I was here the whole time. And I was enjoying the view until you guys came to ‘practice’ your skills..” I stated.

“What’s with the shades?” Cole asked, “Wait, are those mine?!” Kai added. I smirked and pulled them down, “Maybe.. Maybe not.. You’ll never know. And they’re for my eyes, Cole, duh!” 

“Shouldn’t you be with your brother and the others talking about a plan or something?” Jay asked, I put them back up, “Hey, if you guys get to relax then so can I!” I stated with a bit of sass.

I think my eyes wander off somewhere.. I was staring at the two boys that were shirtless.. Oh god… Don't be suspicious, Don't be suspicious, Don't be suspicious, Don't be suspicious.. Their bodies look so- Even with the shades I can see their bodies in detail. “Ehh..” I whimpered. Hopefully no one heard that.. What’s this feeling? It feels weird..

I looked the other way, away from their bodies showing. I cleared my throat, “Anyways, you should stop before my uncle comes, okay? I don’t wanna see you guys in trouble.” I said. “Awww, does the great and powerful (Y/n) care about us?” Kai teased.

I blushed out of embarrassment, “M-Maybe..” I whispered, “Someone has too.” I added. I looked the other way and put my arms down, “Aww we care about you too.” Cole added, he then picked me up and put me on his shoulder. My head was facing the others. “Woah! What’s happening..?” I asked, nervously. The other two nod at Jay, “We’re gonna launch you into the sea.” he said.

“WHAT?!” I yelled, I hit Cole on the back, “PUT ME DOWN! LET ME GO! DON’T YOU REMEMBER I CAN’T SWIM?!” I said. “Again. You’re giving us more reasons why.” Zane said with a smile. I gasped dramatically, “Zane! How dare you..! This is how you treat your own best friend?!” I asked nervously. He only shrugged but still smiled.

“Damn.. Now I see how you felt on that day..” I said. I looked over to Kai. He had some kind of a face, I can’t tell if it was jealous or hate or something else? But if it was jealousy, what would he be jealous of?
