18 - Tea Dance - the question

It has been a few weeks since Rose and I's first date, we have been meeting up with Steve at our cafe on Saturdays where we all get melted cheese sandwiches and a tea, we meet up in the parks going for walks, sometimes I suprise Rose whilst she's working with Howard.

'Morning Jamie' Rose says as we meet at the gates 'morning Rose, how was your weekend?' I asked 'doing homework and working on some of the projects with Howard.' She replies 'how was yours?' It was good, worked on some homework and took Rebbeca to the haberdashers' I reply.  We walk into school together 'see you at lunch?' Rose asks as we approach her class 'usual spot' I reply smiling before heading off to my class.

We had just gone back to class after lunch and on the blackboard was written 'TEA DANCE'. We sit down at our desks. 'The school will be hosting a tea dance, male students can invite a female student if they wish. All Female students are make a dress for a tea dance during their home ec lessons and at home' he says

Our teacher had just announced that the shool was hosting a tea dance. Girls in my class flocked round my table asking to go with me. 'Take me Jamie' they all say 'would you like to go with me James' another asks 'Firstly my names Bucky' I say 'secondly I will ask the lucky lady myself' I reply before carrying back on with my work, well trying too. 'Please Jamie' they plead 'ladies please sit down and leave Mr Barnes alone' our teacher says, the girls don't move 'Now please' he says firmly and all of the girl head back to their seats.

At the end of the day I walked passed Rose's classroom to see her teacher still teaching, I head outside and stand by a tree for her to come out.  I didn't have to wait long to see her walking through the  doors looking radiant as ever.  'Hey Doll' I say smiling 'hey Jamie' Rose replies also so smiling 'you off to the workshop today?' I ask Rose 'I am' rose replies 'may I walk with you' I ask 'you may Jamie' she replies smiling 'you look so beautiful' I say to Rose before leaning into kiss her 'your so handsome James' Rose replies. I wrap my arm around her and we walk to her workshop.

'Miss Stark, Mr Barnes' the receptionist says as we enter the building. 'Good afternoon' we both reply walking to her office. 'Your truly amazing doll' I say smiling at her with my arms around her waist. I lean forward and place a soft kiss on her lips 'I love you' I say smiling. ' I love you too' Rose replies. 'What are you doing Wednesday?' I ask. We don't have any lessons on wensday 'I'll be here working on projects' Rose replies 'could I take you out for lunch?' I ask 'I would like that' Rose replies.  We hug each other, I love how Rose fits in my arms as I can wrap my arms around her. 'Sir you can't be in here' a voice says Rose and I turn around 'sorry Miss Stark, Mr Barnes' they say before walking away. 'I do love hearing them call you Mr Barnes' Rose says smiling at me. 'Likewise with you Miss Stark' I reply.

Rose's pov.

James walked with me to the workshop, 'Miss Stark, Mr Barnes' the receptionist says as we enter the building. 'Good afternoon' we both reply walking to my office. 'Your truly amazing doll' James says holding me close,
James leans forward and place a soft kiss on my lips 'I love you' he says smiling. ' I love you too' I reply, 'What are you doing Wednesday?' He ask. We don't have any lessons on wensday 'I'll be here working on projects' I reply 'could I take you out for lunch?' James asks me 'I would like that' I reply smiling. We hug each other, I enjoy our embrace until someone enters the room ' Sir you can't be in here' a voice says. Both James and I turn round 'sorry Miss Stark, Mr Barnes' they say before walking away. 'I do love hearing them call you Mr Barnes' I say smiling at me. 'Likewise with you Miss Stark' James replies also smiling.

'I'll see you tomorrow Doll' James says 'see you tomorrow Jamie' I reply 'I love you' I add 'I love you too Rosie' James replies before placing a soft kiss on my cheek.
