Anon looked at the three of them, thinking about what to do. "There's two cells left, so I think we should take a look at them and then plan our escape" Said Anon optimistically. The three of them nodded once and followed Anon to the next door. They all took a short look through the window and then let Anon look again. The small cell looked as if it were used for a make-shift surgery room, there was a bloody hospital bed in the centre of the room with blood stained surgical equipment on a table parallel to it. The tools were laid out neatly but had obviously not been cleaned since the last 'patient' had surgery. A heart monitor stood behind the table, unplugged and not working. Alice opened the door and walk inside.
"Who just opened that door?" Asked Christine, confused.
"Alice did" Said Anon
"Who is Alice? Theres only three people here" Said Abbie, siding with Christine.
"Well" He started, pausing to try and think of the shortest explanation, "Alice is a person that only I can see" He said, trying to be as believable as possible.
Alice walked over the the table which held the surgical tools and picked them up, she put two knives and a drill inside her front pocket. She then walked over to Anon and gave him the other surgical tools, which included: Two knives, one mirror, another drill, a miniature saw and some syringes. Christine and Abbie backed away slightly at the sight of the floating knives but eased up a bit when Anon took them. They all turned around to face the last cell and walked towards it. Anon brushed the dust from the window and peered inside.
Inside the cell it was fairly clean, to the right was a chair and a table, to the left sat a boy in a fairly long, blood stained lab coat. He looked around the same age as the others, had dark blond hair and looked fairly normal.
"Do you really think we should go in there?" Asked Christine, "He's wearing a lab coat. He could be working here"
"First of all, he's in a cell. Only test subjects go in cells. Second of all, this part of the asylum is deserted. The only people here are forgotten, left here on accident or too dangerous to take to the working area of the asylum." Said Anon, turning back to the door and opening it.
The boy turned around, his lab coat swaying. He quickly jumped up grabbing a chair and holding it towards Anon like a weapon. "What do you want?!" The boy said, fear in his eyes.
"We're getting out of here" Said Anon, motioning to Alice, Christine and Abbie. "Would you like to join us?"
"Sure?"He said putting the chair down, "It's better than being trapped in here. My name is Luis by the way". They walked out of the room and flooded the corridor.
"I'm Anon, thats Christine, thats Abbie and theres Alice" Said Anon pointing at them as he said their names.
"Alice?" Said Luis, confused.
"Don't worry" Said Christine, bored of repeating who Alice was.
The five of them walked to the end of the corridor and passed through the door. They stepped into a large cafeteria area, school-like benches lined the floor, all bolted to the ground to prevent anyone picking them up. To the left of them were counters where you had to line up and get your drugged food. Most of the tables were broken and dirty, the ceiling was dripping and the floor was cracked.
"We should look for food" Said Anon, walking past the benches and towards the counter. The others followed him and stood by the door. Anon crawled over the counter and opened the locked door for the others.
Behind the counter was a kitchen area, the shelves were packed with glass bottles and chemicals, whilst to the left of them there was a chemistry set, already set up. Below the sink where cleaning chemicals and a metal bin for broken glass. Everyone started to look for some food, in shelves, under bags and in broken cupboards.
"Guys!" Shouted Luis, "I think I found something".
Luis slid a large, heavy box across the floor and over to Abbie. Abbie backed away, not wanting to get any flux on the box. Christine walked over and started tearing into the plastic wrap which covered the box, she threw the plastic wrap to the side and opened it up. Inside the box there were small compartments, each one filled with two or three filled syringes. Everyone smiled and patted Luis on the back, taking a couple syringes each. They held the syringe to their neck and injected the fluid into their blood stream.
"That should last us a couple days at least" Said Anon stuffing a few syringes into his pocket. Everyone agreed, nodding.
"We should find somewhere safe to sleep for the night" Said Christine, looking tired.
"Alice suggests the vents" Said Anon, "She said she knows where an open room is which is only accessible by the vents. Sound safe?"
Everyone nodded and followed Anon who was following Alice. Alice walked to the right wall of the kitchen and threw off a metal air vent which covered the tunnel. She climbed through, the others following her. The tunnels where small and compact, making it difficult to turn corners when needed. Alice led the way, then it went Anon, Christine, Luis and then Abbie, whom of which made a flux trail behind them. After a series of twists and turns Abbie started complaining.
"I hate this" She muttered, "I hate tight spaces"
A few minutes later they reached a large silver room with other holes to tunnels that led around the asylum. The circular room was around the size of a bedroom, it was empty apart from a few cardboard boxes at the side.
"I think this is it" Said Anon, walking over to the boxes and tearing them up.
Anon gave everyone a long piece of cardboard each to sleep on. They all took spots on the floor and quietly laid down. Christine looked over and saw luis, she then got up and moved away from him.
"I don't think Christine trusts Luis.." Whispered Abbie, facing Anon.
"Mmm." Said Anon, "I just think we should get some sleep for now"
