Abbie started falling, falling though the tear of fantasy and reality. She woke up, realising that Christine was shaking her. She sat up and saw Sam, Christine and Alice staring at her.

"You were talking in your sleep" Said Christine, looking down at the dusty floor, her separated hair following her movement and half-covering her face.

Abbie shrugged the confusion away and looked around the room. Sam was sitting on a wooden box, leaning on another one behind her. Sam's face was pale and she looked cold. Christine was sat next to her, she leant against the wall and was biting her nails to the point of bleeding. Abbie glanced up at Alice who was the only one standing, she faced the improvised door that she had created and kept peering through the little cracks around the edges every so often. The boxes in the room were filled with useless objects, not even worth looking at. The air was musty and horrible to inhale.

"Alice?" Said Abbie.

"Hm?" Replied Alice turning around to face Abbie.

"Do you know anything about what happened to Anon?" Asked Abbie, now intrigued to find the answers to difficult questions.

Alice sat down, indicating that it would be a long story. " The Diclonius are a newly evolved species, arising from and very similar to average Humans, but possessing psychokinetic abilities far beyond any Human. For reasons that may be cultural as well as biological, they are often at odds with Humans to the point of threatening to replace them as Earth's dominant sentient species." She said, as if she had practised this conversation over and over again. " The differences are both outwardly visible and internal. Their heads have bony protrusions that resemble cat ears, but are in fact a mix of bone and cartilage, possibly the result of an extremely enlarged pineal gland in their frontal lobes. These Vectors have the ability to manipulate objects and are precise enough to have cutting power, and can be very destructive when unleashed. They are perhaps telekinetic in nature, and can seemingly break bonds at the molecular level." Alice took a breath, her face slightly red from talking. " Diclonius all heal very quickly and do not scar easily. Diclonius are extremely intelligent, however they are just as emotional as humans, often more so. Once pushed to the brink, some hear a voice that claims to be the directing voice of their own DNA, urging them to kill as many humans as possible."

Abbie, Sam and Christine went silent. Thousands of thoughts ran through their minds, all trying to put everything together, or simply just trying to understand any of it at all.

"What were the Vector things again?" Said Christine, wanting to know more.

Alice took a deep breath again. "Vectors are the Diclonius' invisible 'arms', likely telekinetic in nature and origin. Vectors can become visible if there vibration frequency is high enough. The number of vectors varies between Diclonii, the most ever recorded was fifty and the least recorded two, and they can be between two and eleven meters long" Alice looked at the three of them as if they should know this already.

"And Anon has those Vectors?" Said Sam, fear in he voice.

"Anon was only born with eight" Said Alice, as if she were just informing her about the latest tea party she had attended.

Abbie, Sam and Christine exchanged looks and stared at the floor, all thinking the same thing.

"Is he now dangerous?" Christine blurted out, running her index finger along the floor, picking up the dust particles which blanketed the room.

"I'm afraid that Anon is now" She paused, " Completely dangerous" Said Alice.
