The four of them were escorted out of the room and were thrown into a large, white tiled cell together. Three of the walls were fairly clean and shiny, whilst the front wall was in fact a plexiglass window, unbreakable to any human. Anon searched the room for wiretaps and cameras, after finding none he sat back down in between Christine and Abbie. Anon looked at his reflection in the glass, half of his face was covered in Flux, mainly due to it being pushed into the mark on the table left by Abbie, the piece of wood Alice had got for him was replaced with two crutches, mainly due to the fact that the piece of wood could be used as a weapon, his make-shift bandages were taken off and replaced with actual bandages provided by the medic team that worked in the asylum. After Anon made sure their were no cameras in the room he sat up straight.
"The microchips are probably wiretapped, connected to our spinal nerve and are tracked" Said Anon shakily. "They can monitor our movements, listen to what we are saying and can electrocute us with a high voltage whenever they want to"
A few hours had passed and the door was opened. A guard stood by the door and watched them leave.
"What's happening?" Asked Christine, confused.
"Lunch.." Said the guard emotionlessly.
The group of five, now joined by Alice who was waiting outside, walked along until they came across other test subjects, who were walking alone down the corridor. The group decided to follow the other subjects as they probably knew where they were going. They passed various doors, toilets and infirmaries until coming across a large cafeteria. If was bigger and much more cleaner than the last one they had raided, it was filled with other test subjects, some of them sitting down and eating, while others lined up. The cafeteria was separated into different sections, which probably meant the group had to split up.
Anon shoved his finger under a bandage and into a wound, he retrieved his finger and started scribbling something on his hand with his blood. He finished and showed everyone, "Don't eat the food", it said in horrible handwriting. Everyone nodded and walked up to the queue for the drugged food. Anon was first inline, then Christine, Luis and Abbie, Alice waited at the side of the room, knowing she would not be served.
The group got closer to the front. A tall man, around twenty-five to thirty reached the front of the line, snatched the syringe from the person behind the counter and demanded more. The 'Lunch lady' refused and told him to go away, the now angry man leaned over the counter and shouted into her face. He then collapsed onto the floor. Anon knew what was happening but the others had no clue. "They're electrocuting him with the microchip, I explained this could happen before", He said, stepping forward to fill the gap in the queue. The collapsed man was grabbed up by some armed guards and escorted away.
Anon stepped forward only two spaces away from the front of the line. He turned around to look at the different coloured tables, all symbolising categories of where you fitted in the most. He turned around to see that he was next inline, he stepped up to the counter and waited. The 'Lunch lady' scanned him and typed something into the scanner she was holding, she then passed him a green syringe and looked over at Christine who stepped up to the counter to be scanned.
Anon turned around to see the few green benches at the back left. He walked over to them and sat down on a free bench. On the other green benches sat six to eight people, evenly spread out across the two benches. The people looked pretty rough, one of them had rotting flesh falling flake by flake from their face, flies circled around him. Anon glanced at the label on the green syringe, "Contaminated" it read. Anon sighed and looked up to see Christine hurry over to a red table. The label above the red table read "Mentally ill", Anon chuckled and saw Luis slowly walk over to a blue table. The label above the blue table read, "Unknown cause" above it. Anon looked down at his own table, clenching and unclenching his fist.
"Hi" Said Abbie cheerfully, sitting down next to him.
"Hey" Said Anon not-so-cheerfully.
"So what do we do with this stuff?" Asked Abbie quietly.
"Eat it", Said Anon, squirting it out onto the floor. And getting the un-drugged raided food from his pocket. Abbie did this same and injected the un-drugged food into her neck, acting normal.
