He woke up in a dirty hospital bed, the sheets were torn and covered in crimson blood - his blood. As he sat up he felt a strain on his leg, he threw the tattered bed sheets off and saw the metal clamp that kept him in place. He sighed quietly looking left, biting his lower lip. In the almost-as-bad hospital bed next to him was Alice, a girl that only he could see and the reason which got him into this mess altogether. Alice would sit up unclamped to the furniture, not that it would stop her anyway. She was as equally as scruffy as he was. Alice hopped down from the not-so-tall thing she slept on and shuffled closer to the end of his flimsy bed.
"A-Anon.." She read the information sheet at the end of his bed quietly.
"I'm Alice.." She said, her voice shaky. She wiped her head with her left hand and licked the blood from it after she retrieved it from the large wound.
"You don't remember me, do you Alice?" Replied Anon, frustrated with her but trying to hide it.
"H-How do you know my name?.." She said in fear, backing away slowly.
Anon sighed. "Wow she really hit her head" He thought, also scared.
"Alice come here" Said Anon, ignoring her question.
"Who are you?.." She asked, forgetting the last 2 minutes of what just happened. She walked over to Anon, confused and disorientated.
"Alice-" He stopped, picking up a vial which contained a red thick liquid, which was in fact his own blood. "Alice, drink this and everything will be ok.." He handed her the dark red vial. Alice studied it, looking very confused. She tried to open the top and dropped the fragile object that was so crucial to the plan that Anon was forming in the complexity of his mind. The vial smashed into a thousand pieces onto the solid, tiled floor. "NO.." Shouted Anon, louder than he wanted it to be. He tried to get up but remembered that he was still clamped to the bed. The clamp sliced through his jeans and into his leg. He cried out, biting into the dirty pillow that comforted his head.
"It's ok!" Alice said kneeling down to the small puddle of blood, "I can still drink it"
"No don't! The glass will cut you" Anon shouted, this time controlled.
Too late. The second his blood touched her tastebuds she was rushed with memories, in fact all the memories came all at once, which was to much to process for anyone. Alice fell onto her back shaking violently, and then fell unconscious. "Alice!" He shouted, aware that if she were to stay on her back she would almost defiantly choke on the blood produced by her tongue after the glass sliced it open.
Anon knew what he needed to do. He reached to the clamp on his left leg, gagging at what he was about to do to save Alice. He bashed the clamp as hard as he could with his hand, tightening the clamp. He repeatedly bashed the clamp, the clamp would tighten at every tiny struggle and bash. At this point their was no turning back, the blood leaked from his leg and dribbled onto the floor. The only noise heard was a loud repetitive metal clashing noise and a dripping noise which grew more continuos and louder by the second. The pain felt by Anon was excruciating, but would be worth it to save an innocent girls life. Anon's left leg finally crunched under the compression of the clamp.
He pulled what was left of his leg away from the other severed half, still tight in the clamp. Anon shuffled to the edge of his bed and purposely fell next to Alice. He hit the ground hard, blood splattering from his mangled left leg. He crawled closer to Alice. Anon slowly pushed Alice onto her side. Blood dribbled out of her mouth and she began to cough vigorously.
Anon had saved her, but at the cost of his left leg.
