Anon slowly sat up in the horrible hospital bed located in the middle of the room, the others sat back down on their own bed. Sam dangled her legs over the edge and swung them back and forth, Christine sat cross-legged and Alice pushed herself around the room using the bed on wheels she had slept in. The room was dark and cold, various noises would come from the ceiling as if the floor up there was being used. Everyone fell silent and listened to see if they could hear anything important, only muffled screams and shouts could be heard, along with a loud dripping noise, which blocked out some parts of the understandable context. Alice wheeled over to where the dripping noise originated and stopped just in front of the puddle caused by the dripping, she hopped off of he bed and knelt down to try and see what the liquid was, the darkness obscuring her vision. The murky pool seemed to be blood, which rhythmically dripped from the ceiling. Alice got back onto the bed and wheeled back over to the others.
"We should check out the floor above us" Said Alice, excitement in her voice.
"How? There's no where to go but the way we came in" Said Christine.
"But that door over there leads straight to a staircase" Alice said, pointing over to a barricaded door on the other side of the room.
"Why did you not mention this sooner?!" Asked Anon, raising his voice slightly.
"Let's just go" Interrupted Sam, frustrated with the conversation and bored of sitting around.
The group got up from the creaky beds and trudged towards the barricaded door, Anon began to pry off the boards and nails using his crutches as a crowbar. Alice helped by kicking some of the boards in half, and then ripping the remains off. Finally the door was free and it was opened. Through the door was a white staircase to the right, to the left was a cramped clear space for storage, in the corner of the storage space was a corpse laying on it's back, foamy blood spilled from it's mouth whilst various things stuck in the victims chest created more blood, which formed a pool around him. Alice walked up to the corpse and noticed a key-card buried three quarters deep into the corps's ribcage, she reached over and took the key-card as if plucking a feather. She walked up the the staring group and waved it around in their face. "Finders keepers" She said smiling. Anon stepped past the others and began to scale the stairs, the others followed him silently. The stairs where white marble, and seemed to be fairly clean compared to everything else in the asylum. The brightness increased as the group got closer to the top of the staircase, as well as the volume of the voices that could be heard. A bulky metal door stood in the way of the next room, as if guarding a new area. Alice excitedly skipped over to the door and took out her key-card, searching for the hole which required it, she disappointedly lowered her head as she could not find the key pad, she then turned around again and slid the key-card in between the door and the wall.
Click.
The door lurched forward, opening into a large surgery room. Everyones face told the confusion of what Alice had just done. Anon made his way into the room which seemed organised but dirty, the beds where lined with bloody sheets, with pillows to match. At the back right of the room stood a girl with long blonde hair, she towered over a corpse that laid comfortably on the surgery bed. The girl quietly sang to herself whilst playing with the corpse, she moved it's arms up and down as if they were toys. Anon turned around mouthing "Let's go" and began to move towards the door.
"Did you book an appointment?" Asked the girl, startling the group that now faced away from her.
"No, we didn't" Said Anon, slowly turning around.
The girls appearance was odd. She wore a white nurses outfit, which was torn and stained with blood down the front, her blonde hair fell behind her and in front of her at each shoulder, she clutched a note pad and pen in one hand, her other hand hovered over many sharp surgery tools lined in her nurse pocket, her face was branded with a self-stitched chelsea smile which bleed slightly as she talked.
