Anon stepped closer and glanced at the nurse's name plate. Sidney. The other members of the group didn't know whether to leave or stay, finally Anon introduced himself, the others did the same but didn't reveal anything else. Sidney seemed.. mentally unstable compared to Anon, and looked as if she had never slept in a long time.
"So you here just for a checkup?" Asked Sidney, twitching slightly.
"Yeah?" Said Anon, "Why not?"
Sidney swivelled around and began walking to the other end of the room, opposite of the door they came through. Christine increased her speed to catch up with Anon.
"You sure about this?" Asked Christine, sceptical.
"Yeah, it will be fine. She's harmless" Replied Anon jokingly.
Sidney came to a stop in front of some tall, battered metal lockers. She opened one and took out a bunch of papers, she began to scan through them impatiently.
"You can sit down over there if you want" Sidney announced, pointing over to a few chairs, most of them broken.
Anon took a seat next to Alice who was also unsure about Sidney and the whole situation they had landed in. Anon took out his pocket watch and checked the time, 9:00, he twiddled his thumbs and stared at the floor, contemplating on the whole "Abbie situation" and what he was going to do. Christine searched for an unbroken chair to sit on whilst Sam gave up and sat on the floor, legs pulled tight towards her. Sidney looked up from the papers and asked for their names again, even though they had already introduced themselves. Sidney began to throw some of the papers she didn't need on the floor as if were a game.
"Err.. Sam? You're first" Said Sidney, dropping all of the papers.
Sam slowly got onto her feet and stumbled towards Sidney, turning around to see Anon mouth "It's fine". Sidney walked through the door and into another room out of sight, Sam followed. Anon swung his legs back and fourth, bored with the wait. Alice stood up and wandered around the room, she began to collect little flammable things such as little medicines and tiny containers of powder scattered around the room. A few minutes later Sidney walked out of the room, twitching.
"Christine? You are the next person" She said calmly.
"Where's Sam?" Asked Christine, getting up off of the half-broken chair.
"She's waiting in another room" Sidney replied quickly.
Christine followed her into the same room, now quite scared. Anon began fiddling with the mess of bandages on his severed leg, worried if Sidney would do anything to it. He checked his arms and hands, they were slightly red from using the crutches for the last however long. Five to six minutes passed before Sidney appeared again (without Christine or Sam), she brushed her hair out of her face before announcing the next person.
"Alice? It's your turn" She said looking at a notepad.
Alice walked over to Sidney and followed her into the room where the others had entered. Anon was now extremely bored, he took a syringe from his pocket and injected the fluid into his bloodstream, hoping it would calm him. Seven to eight minutes had passed until Sidney had reappeared for the final time.
"And finally Anon" Sidney said, twitching.
Anon grabbed the crutches and pushed himself up before stumbling towards the door where Sidney had already started walking to. As Anon entered the room he noticed little blood splatters on the floor, leading from the char in the centre of the room to another door to the top left of the room. Sidney pointed at the chair for him to sit down, she then turned around to grab the metal bar on the side. Sidney walked around to the back of the chair cautiously and raised the metal bar. Anon saw Sidney's actions in the reflection of a glass panel and immediately ducked as the metal bar came surging past. Anon pushed himself onto his feet and stumbled towards the other door as fast as he could, he slammed the door behind him and 'ran' along the short corridor to a small square storage room where three lifeless bodies rested. Upon closer inspection the three bodies were actually Sam, Christine and Alice, all not moving, either unconscious or dead. Anon quickly ripped open a locker and jumped into it, throwing his crutches to the floor. Anon bit his hand and leaned against the back of the locker, trying not to make a sound. Faint footsteps were heard over the noise of Anon's heavy breathing, they neared him slowly. Suddenly the locker began to tilt forwards as if someone was pulling it, the locker tilted more and more until it slammed into the solid ground. Anon's head smashed into the ground, knocking him unconscious.
Childish giggling echoed the room.
