"That was a dumb question, I can see that you're not okay but why are you crying?" You slowly walked up to her as she shook her head continuously wiping her eyes as she struggled to get her words out. It was one of those cries where you were unable to speak and you just kept sniffing and choking on your words. It seemed that your asking if she was okay just made her start crying even more.
"D-don't worry a-about it Y/N, I'm f-fine," she managed to get her words out while stuttering repeatedly she turned to look at the mirror while covering her face as she started bawling into her hands. Whatever it was, you expected Mikasa to come and comfort her since she didn't want to speak about it with you.
"Okay well it's late so get home safe," you uttered before turning around. The one thing you learnt was to never leave a crying person by themselves even when they told you that they were fine you weren't dumb, but it was Sasha and you didn't think she liked you enough for your comfort. Being the sympathetic person that you are, you didn't care about that.
"Would you like a hug," you asked turning around again to look at her. To you, you felt like having someone to hug while crying was a comforting feeling. It was almost as if you asked Sasha for a hug because you needed a hug from someone as well.
Sasha nodded slightly as you opened your arms out taking a step towards her as she met your arms. You gave her a loose embrace as Sasha rested her nose on your shoulder and her arms wrapped around your shoulders. Those silent cries turned to loud wails as you rubbed circles on her back.
"Whatever it is, don't hate yourself," you whispered loudly for her to hear as you felt Sasha shake her head.
"Of course, I won't hate myself, because if I do, who's going to be there for me?" she rhetorically asked as you shook your head understanding her. She slowly released herself from your embrace.
"I hate my friends, they're all toxic and mean and useless. They're never there for me, they never take me serious," she uttered as you tilted your head to the side.
"By your friends, do you mean the ones acting loud outside as if they have no sort of home training?" You asked as she nodded chuckling a bit.
"Fuck, I hate it when I cry," she uttered undoing the tight ponytail she had as she stared at herself through the mirror you grabbed a bunch of tissues for her to see that she was still crying.
She took it from you to use it to blow her nose as she walked into the handicapped section of the toilets. You silently followed her to see her sitting on the closed toilet seat. The area was quite spacious allowing you to have some space from each other.
"You don't have to stay here for me, you can go I know you're hungry," Sasha murmured as you looked back for a moment uncomfortably playing with your fingers, Sasha noticed your discomfort.
