(By the way, thank you to @hello_oing for the idea! I was reading their lovely art book and I saw some drawings that inspired me to write this!)

Jim sits at his desk, pretending to work, but his eyes are fixed on Dwight. He watches as Dwight types away on his computer, his eyes focused on the screen. Jim traces every detail on his face with his eyes, studying every feature as if it wasn't already committed to memory. His heart races in his chest, and he knows that he's obsessed with him. It's been almost a decade since they started working together, and Jim has been in love with him ever since.

Jim knows that what he's doing is wrong. He can't help the way he feels about Dwight, and he doesn't think he'll ever be able to stop loving him. He can't seem to focus on anything else. It all seems worth it just to catch a glimpse of him, to be near him, to bask in the glow of his perfection.

Dwight gets up from his desk and heads towards the break room. Jim's heart skips a beat as he walks past him, and he can feel himself getting nervous. He tries to focus on his work, but he can't seem to concentrate on anything else. All he can think about is Dwight. Every movement he makes is like a work of art to Jim, and he can't get enough of it.

Jim gets up from his desk and follows him into the break room. Dwight is standing at the coffee machine, pouring himself a cup of coffee. Jim watches him as he takes a sip, and he can't help but feel jealous of the cup. He wishes he was the one Dwight was holding, the one he was drinking from. Jim watches as he swallows, and he can feel his heart racing even faster. He wants him so badly, he can't stand it.

As Jim watches him, he realizes that no one else seems to notice him like he does. They see him as just another coworker, someone to joke around with or complain about. But to Jim, he's so much more than that. He's his everything, his reason for living. Jim knows that one day they'll be together, no matter what. It has to happen. He's spent so long imagining them being together, imagining confessing his love and running away together.

Jim can't help but wonder what Dwight would say if he knew how he felt. Would he be flattered? Repulsed? Would he call the police and have Jim arrested? He doesn't know, and the uncertainty only makes his obsession grow stronger.

Jim's attention is diverted when he overhears two coworkers talking about Angela. He watches as they walk past him, completely unaware of the dark secret he's hiding. He listens in on their conversation with interest and a hidden delight.

"Have you heard any updates on Angela?" one coworker asks the other.

"No, not really. She's still in a coma, apparently," the other responds with a shrug.

Jim looks over at Angela's empty seat in accounting, a wave of satisfaction washing over him. He knows that Angela will never wake up. He made sure of that. He tries to hide his grin as he listens to their conversation continue.

"I heard that Dwight is still visiting her every day," the first coworker says, shaking their head sadly.

Jim's eyes flicker over to Dwight, who's still standing in the breakroom. Jim grits his teeth at the thought of Dwight being so devoted to Angela. He feels a pang of jealousy and anger in his chest, but he quickly pushes it aside.

One coworker sighs. "That's so sad. She's such a good person, it's hard to imagine something like this happening to her."

Jim feigns sympathy, nodding along with their conversation. But inside, he feels nothing but satisfaction at the mention of Angela's condition. He remembers that night vividly, the way he had waited for her outside in the shadows, his hatred for her boiling over. It's been 3 months, but the urge is still there, fresh as the day it happened. As he looks over at Angela's empty desk, he thinks about how easy it was to shove her into the path of that car. He remembers the satisfying splat of her body hitting the pavement, and the rush of adrenaline he felt as he watched her lying there, broken and bleeding.
