Tell me I'm pretty,
How so grateful I am-
But knowing it arises out my identity,
How so worthless it becomes.
Pretty eyes, blushing face,
Cascading night, flowing waves.
What an achievement to have a lucky birth,
What futility to leave,
the castle of gold for paper!
So easy to objectify me, don't you think?
A pretty face and nothing more?
