a trip to remember 🫰

it was a spring day, a young girl was seen who looked to be about 16 with brown straight hair was laying on her bed watching videos. her name was Piper. suddenly pipers mom knocked on the door to her room reminding her she has school which Piper completely forgot about cause she hasn't even slept much the previous nights and was pretty tired. Piper was normally like an A+ student but she's been going through a rough time causing her grades to fall down a bit. Piper quickly grabbed her bags, did her eyeliner and ran out the door where she saw her boyfriend Ethan. he was a dude with brown curly hair, and was picking her up to drive her to school.

she sat in Ethan's car and he looked at her "are you okay? do you have everything?"

"yeah" Piper rolls her eyes, which she didn't mean to do she just didn't understand why Ethan constantly checked on her 24/7. Ethan must've noticed she was annoyed cause he didn't talk the rest of the car ride and it got pretty awkward. once they arrived to school, Ethan opened her car door for her and they walked in the school together and sat down by there group of friends.

"ugh i really didn't wanna come today" Margot says rolling her eyes

"me neither, but at least we have the trip to the woods later, it'll get us out of school for awhile" daisy says while leaning against a chair.

Piper was looking down, she hasn't really went camping in forever and last time she did was with her dad but her dad and mom split up ages ago, and her mom made Piper cut off all contact with her dad. Piper has no memory of going camping though, she was like five months, and seven months when they split up. but she has pictures of them camping together

a few minutes pass and the bell rings, Piper had her next class with her friends Cole, and Carter. which is diffrent cause she wasn't that close with Cole in general and he was more of her boyfriends friend so they never actually had time to bond, all she knows is bro definitely likes daisy, he makes it Incresenly obvious Carter was one of her friends though, he was probably just ur typical weirdo and was talking about how he got his first girlfriend when he was nine, like honestly, nobody cares.

Piper sat her books next to Carter and Cole and just started drawing on her notebook in class.

suddenly the teacher called Piper out and told her to "stop doodling"

Carter started laughing cause he sucks, and Piper rolled her eyes and put her notebook away.

it was a friday, so after school everyone was going in the woods for spring break.

Piper was walking out of the class later on and overheard girls talking, it was her friends Karla and her other friends faith and Lyra. Piper being curious, walked over to them. "what are you guys talking about?" she asks them.

"I'm trying to convince Karla to come on the trip" faith rolls her eyes

"and i- I agree with faith of course" Lyra says, her and faith have been dating for 7 months now and have been friends for almost ever.

"I don't know" Karla says "millions of things could happen, we could die, get eaten, burned alive, chased, killed, and did I mention eaten? what if there's a bear.."

"bears only bother you if you bother them first, leave the bears alone" Lyra says, she's basically obsessed with animals. bears, bunnys, and raccoons are her favorites, but she loves all.

"Karla..- I think your over thinking it" faith says and rolls her eyes "carters coming"

"ugh- fine" Karla says, she was really down bad for the dude.

"I don't really wanna go either... but Margot is forcing me to, she says it's a perfect opportunity to get out" Piper says

"I'm sure it'll be fun! don't worry" Lyra says trying to convince her to not change her mind, Piper slightly smiles at her cause Lyra is so damn innocent.

"let's remember who's dating who here, Lyra is dating me and your dating Ethan" faith says jokingly.

"I know" Piper rolls her eyes and walks away

"what's up with her?" Karla says, faith just shrugs "probably not ready for the trip"

cole was walking out of school after it ended and bumped into daisy, who again- he has had a crush on forever, she was in there friend group but he never even had the courage to make eye contact with her most the time cuz buddy was to nervous.

"I'm so sorry" Cole says, daisy smiles "it's okay, don't apologize"

"im just clumsy sometimes and don't know where I'm going- but- uh, hey your going camping with us right?" Cole says, trying to spark a conversation and hopefully hide the fact he was nervous but it was to noticeable.

"well yea, I am in the friend group" daisy says, which wasn't supposed to come across as rude cause, she meant it in a joking way.

"oh, cool, do you have anyone that's taking you? I can drive you if you want me to" Cole says

"no, and sure I'd love that, I just gotta stop at my house and grabs my bags." daisy says

"I can drive you back to your house if you want" Cole says, he seems desperate but he's just happy. daisy nods and they both head off.

Piper arrived at her house and picked up a picture, her happy mood suddenly went into a dark one, the picture appeared to be of her parents, and her sister. they got separated forever ago, and Piper barely remembers anything about it. but she went with her mother and her sister went with her father, a tear fell from her eye as she looked at the picture, she was about 6 months in it and never got to even experience a happy family because it's just her and her mom, her moms always constantly upset over what happened. suddenly her best friend Margot stepped into the room "you okay?" Margot goes to sit across from her, Piper quickly puts on a fake smile to assure Margot she's fine.

"yeah, I'll manage. I always do" Piper says, she puts her picture into her camping bag.

"you ready to go? Ethan said he'd drive you if you wanted, and I could come along so your stuck with me" Margot jokes, not actually cause it's true. "and Elijah is driving with us"

"yeah" Piper says, she grabs her camping bag and follows Margot out the door to Ethan's car.

it's kinda boring and I didn't introduce every character property so I apologize, I'm trying to give all at least a good scene so you'd miss them when I kill them..
also me: *makes Carter annoying*

I'm scared to post this cuz my story anxiety is back.. 😕 and I don't like this chapter much
