I continued down the random walkway I had found and stopped by some mome raths. They scattered, making squealing noises as they ran to another area. I snorted, and continued down the walkway, looking around. I heard some familiar snickering nearby and didn't look back as I sprinted away. I did not want to see or talk to him now- he was an idiot. An overconfident, smug, idiot.

I stopped near a spring, gasping for breath. I punched the air above me, and a giggle erupted as he shimmered away. "Go away, Cheshire."

"No thanks, Allegra," He said, appearing on a tree branch, watching me with an amused expression.

"You're an idiot, you know that, right?" I hissed.

"I'm well aware, thank you very much," He said, eyes narrowing slightly.

I turned around, I refused to look at him. "How can you be mad at me for...' flirting ' as humans call it?"

"Because."

"That's not a very good answer," he muttered.

"Well, deal with it. It's the only answer you're gonna get," I snapped.

"Oh?" He asked a glint of mischievousness in his slit eyes.

"You heard me."

"Did I though...?"

"With those big ears you did," I said, smirking.

"Ouch..." He murmured but snorted a bit.

"The truth hurts, big ears," I said, my smirk growing wider.

He hissed and hopped off the tree. "Watch your mouth."

"Mm, kitty getting angry now...?" I asked, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow.

His ears perked, and his eyes narrowed more. "Watch your mouth, Allegra," He repeated.

"What if I don't want to?"

"Then that's too bad," He said slyly.

"Whatever you're thinking about," I hissed. "No."

"What do you mean? How could you possibly know what I'm thinking?"

"It's written on your face. I'm leaving."

"Alright. Bye-bye!"
