Axel's Point of View:

Rome is always out the door at an ungodly hour so I'm usually left to wake the kids and today was no different. I walked down the hall and went to go wake Indy Rose first. She sleeps in dad's room when he's not here but when he is she'll sleep in Rome's bed and he'll sleep on the couch.

"Time to get up Indy Rose. I'll have breakfast done in a little bit."

I shook her shoulder a bit and she finally sat up. She locked eyes and I could tell she was mad.

"What's wrong? You're usually the one I can count on for being a morning person."

(Indy) - "You know what you did yesterday was wrong. You took your anger out on Decker and that's not fair. The only reason I'm even talking to you right now is because I don't believe in holding grudges."

"I don't have time to argue with you about this, Indy Rose, I have to wake up the boys. Get dressed and just drop it like everyone else."

I left knowing if I stayed I'd probably end up yelling.

"Get your lazy asses up!"

I yell as I knock on the door to the boys bedroom and head downstairs to cook breakfast. I couldn't help but chuckle at the angry grunts that followed.

All the kids made it out the door fed and on time and Decker had his list of chores to do while at home so I considered the day a success.

Kaz's Point of View:

The bell rang and lunch began. The halls flooded with hungry, hormonal, teenagers. I didn't see the point of rushing just to wait in a line so I always took my time and met up with Decker and some of our friends in the bathroom to smoke and catch up. But today I never made it to the cafeteria.

*Ring* *Ring*

"Hello?"

(Indy) - "Kaz, I, I need you."

"Whats going on? Indy what happened? Answer me!"

The stragglers from the big rush were staring but I didn't care. I just wanted to make sure Indy was okay.

(Indy) - "Some of the kids at school beat me up on the playground. It's not that big of a deal, I just need some new clothes. Please don't tell no one."

I could tell she was choking out the words trying not to cry.

"What do you mean it's not that big of a deal? And how do you expect me to get you clothes I'm at school!"

(Indy) - "Please Kaz? Everyone else will freak out. And don't act like you don't skip school all the time anyways."

"Fine. I'll be there but I'm taking Decker with me and we're gonna have a talk to those kids that beat you up. Listen Indy, your big brothers are going to take care of it, okay? I love you."

I ended the call and ran to the bathroom.

"Sorry guys, I've got some family stuff to take care of."

They all nodded in understanding and
I crawled through the window in the bathroom and ran for the house. I'm sure a teacher or two saw me but they don't get paid enough to give two shits all they see is one less kids to worry about.

Decker's Point of View:

Kaz bust through the door out of breath and startles me.

"What the fuck man? Why aren't you in school?"

(Kaz) - "Some kids beat up Indy and she needs new clothes. She's saying its no big deal but we all know Indy so I told her me and you would take care of it."

I jump up from the couch and run up the stairs. I grab the first thing I see hanging in her closet and some pants that are laying on the floor and practically jump past the stairs on my way down. Axel had taken the truck with him to work so me and Kaz had to run all the way to the school.
