Kaz's Point of View:
Brian had brought us to town to go to the uniform store and Walmart to get school supplies while Keith stayed at the house to wait for the rest of the kids to get there. I'm not sure what they had talked about before we left but for some reason Decker had turned a new leaf. He hated clothes shopping more than me and yet he hadn't complained once. All of the uniforms he had us trying on were uncomfortable and scratchy making my hatred for trying on clothes more prominent than it already was. Having to wear a uniform just seemed so stupid to me, what was I going to do show up in a thong at school if I was left to dress myself? No, so I don't see what the big deal is.
"What's the point of starting a new school when we're going to leave soon anyways?" I mumbled as I walked out of the dressing room. I wasn't really trying to ask a question but more so talking to myself.
(Brian) - "Say it only takes two weeks for you to go back home, that's ten days of school that you're missing, and we don't want you falling behind. Your academics should be one of your top priorities, the one thing people can't take away from you is your education. I also think that school will be a great way to distract you boys, I know this transition isn't easy, even if it is temporary. Now did those pants I gave you fit?" I nodded my head and we were off to the checkout counter. Town was only fifteen minutes from the house, so we were there rather quickly. When we did get there we were told to go put up our new uniforms and wash up for dinner.
I threw the uniforms in some drawers and grabbed my phone which I had left to charge while we were out. Apparently word had gotten out around school because my friends were texting me asking if I was okay. I also had a text from Indy, talking about how the family she was put with has a girl her age and how she's super nice but that she misses us and to not forget her. She truly did have the kindest heart out of anyone I knew. After replying to her, a notification from Rome popped up, 'Hey kiddo, when you get the chance I need to talk to you and Decker. I hope you're doing alright, love you both.' I went out into the hallway and knocked on the door across from mine which is where Decker should be. Reason opened the door.
(Reason) - "Come on in kid." I scanned the room looking for Decker, but he wasn't there.
"Sorry, I was looking for my brother." I turned to leave but Jude stopped me.
(Jude) - "Where do you think you're going? I want to talk about something with you. A little birdy told me you were trying to act all tough."
(Reason) - "Jude, stop. You're going to regret it." What were they on about?
(Jude) - "You gonna stop me?" Reason let out a sigh, you could tell he was completely over it.
(Reason) - "You're going to throw away your chance of seeing Tess and Piper, just to teach some random kid a lesson? Think about it Jude. Besides this scrawny thing doesn't have any bite to him, you can see it in his eyes. You can always tell if someone's trouble and he isn't, he's just a scared kid, so leave it be."
(Jude) - "Your lucky, go find your brother before I change my mind." I didn't waste any time getting out of there. They put me in a house full of nut jobs. I gave up on trying to find Decker, it was clearly too dangerous so I just went downstairs to the living area where Finn and Levi were playing a game.
(Levi) - "We don't bite, you can come sit down." Sure you don't, I thought. But they most definitely had an alternative motive. None the less I sat down. It wasn't long before people started to make their way downstairs. Oliver was first then Reason and Jude. Finally Decker made an appearance. Before he got the chance to sit down I stood up and pulled him to the side.
