Indy's Point of View:

I rolled out of Rome's bed only to hear the sound of people arguing downstairs. I wasn't too surprised, with dad being home it was almost expected but that didn't mean I had to like it. I threw on one of my favorite Sunday dresses and my converse. It wasn't often I got to dress all pretty in a house full of boys, but Sunday's I dressed for the Lord and nothing else mattered. I took my sweet time walking down the stairs, don't get me wrong I love my dad but sometimes it's hard when you feel like you're the only one that loves him and that maybe you shouldn't.

"Dad!" I put on a smile and gave him a big hug putting a stop to his and Kaz's argument. I wasn't paying too much attention, but it was something about Kaz wanting to go to church and Dad wanting the dishes done first.

(Allan) - "Hey, sweet girl. Why don't you look all nice in that dress, where you going?"

"Dad, I'm going to church. Like I do every Sunday. You can come too if you'd like." I knew the invite would be declined; it always was but I never hesitated to offer. Me, Kaz and the occasional Rome if Charlie drug him there were the only ones that went to church.

(Allan) - "Well it looks like you're going by yourself seeing as your brother is acting a fool."

(Kaz) - "What the fuck? I haven't even done anything! The dishes will get done, just not right now!"

"Dad, please let him go. Who are you to deny him Jesus." He shoved me aside without even a second thought. Boy was Kaz in for it now. I started looking around the room for my other brothers hoping they would step in. I knew Rome probably spent the night at Charlie's and Axel was probably out with friends, but Decker should at least be here.

(Allan) - "Want to talk to me that way again?"

(Kaz) - "Uh, no, no sir."

(Allan) - "You were all high and mighty just a second ago, why so quiet now?"

(Kaz) - "I didn't mean it, I'm sorry."

(Allan) - " Well it's too late now ain't it? Get your ass upstairs."

And just like that Kaz practically ran up the stairs and into his room. Kaz wasn't like my other brother's, he was no stranger to fear the poor thing was probably terrified.

"Dad, please don't do anything. It was just an in the moment type deal. I'll do the dishes let Kaz go to church."

(Allan) - "Mind your fucking business and shut up for once in your fucking life!" Tears were falling and I was panicked, I hated getting yelled at. I was just trying to keep Kaz out of trouble. I had to find Decker. I searched just about everywhere till I found him in the backyard smoking a cigarette.

"Decker, you have to come stop dad. He's about to beat the snot out of Kaz." I talked so fast I'm surprised he even understood what I said.

(Decker) - "Well I mean, does he deserve it? I know how he can get and that smart ass mouth of his."

"Decker! I'm being serious he hasn't done anything, and dad is overreacting by a lot!"

(Decker) - "Okay, okay, fine. Where are they?"

"Dad sent Kaz to his room and dad was in the kitchen rummaging around for a beer while I was looking for you."

(Decker) - "Boy Kaz must have really done it for him to be having a pre-beating beer. Call either Rome or Axel and go to church. No need for you to be wasting those pretty looks around the house. Go to the park or somethin' after too, I don't want you back here before noon, you here?"
