LAIC - Could Games be used to brainwash?

Just to be clear, I adore adventure (puzzle) games as they were some of the first games I really enjoyed. I have several of them, including Inscryption listed below.

Devolver game company who has assisted in the revival of 'Adventure Games'.

For 'Golden Week' Devolver has 4 of it's 'biggest titles' on sale. Death's Door, Terra Nil, Inscryption and their newest title 'Cult of the Lamb' are all on sale. There's no message here, nothing to see right? Just a 'Company' called Devolver pushing Cult of the Lamb at Death's Door? Don't be silly and LAIC or you might be unnerved.....

Bad Actors wouldn't use an 'indie' game company for bad magic, predictive or symbiotic programming, normalization or brainwashing, right? Cult of the Lamb is just good family fun, right?
