Animal ID chips have been in use for decades now and I wonder a lot about how they are used to manipulate animals and potentially the humans around them.

Could the chips be used to harm the animal? For instance, could it send out a signal that hatches any parasites placed in the pet with shots?
Could the chip be used to listen in on you?
Could the chip be used to send signals that harm you or the environment?
Could the chip be used to hack into your electronics or damage them if you got uppity?
Could the chip be used to hold your pet hostage if you don't comply?
Could the chip have been used to test effectiveness on humans?
Could the chip be used to track your movements or use the pets nervous system as a repeater?
