At what point in our history did we move from greeting each other with 'Good Day' or 'Greetings' to verbiage like 'good mourning' and hello?
Why would you wish someone a good time mourning? Why would you want them to begin mourning the instant they rise?
I wonder, does it lower a person's vibe and expectations for the day? Does it make them less likely to complain about unreasonable circumstances, because they are just grateful to survive?
Could it cast a spell of sort, a trance inducing phrase is repeated over and over. How many times have you been greeted with mourning or an O'hell (hello)? I wonder if that repetition ingrained or entrained certain vibrations, expectations or behaviors in us with every repeat, like hypnosis.
And you know what makes me the angriest? If this was meant to be an ill manipulation of words, folks who just intend to offer a greeting are doing the equivalent of throwing curses.
LAIC, and I begin to wonder.
P.S. I use Good Dawning and Safe Journey, much love and good day as alternatives.
I use Dawning, I refuse to begin my day mourning
