In the morning, the two interacted to each other as if nothing had happened. That was a great show to save theirselves from unnecessary awkwardness. Lisa thought, it was an accident, they didn't really want it to happen. For Irene, it wasn't much of a big deal despite of it being her first kiss, she meant, it was only Lisa. It's not even counted. That's why when they parted ways, Lisa reminded her unnie that she will pick her up on Monday to give her a ride wherein, Irene happily agreed.
"How was the camping, unnie?" Yeri asked while making some coffee.
"Fun. You should come with us next time." Irene took a seat.
"Nice to hear. Unnie, Lisa changed alot, don't you think?" Yeri started.
"She's still the same to me. Physically she changed drastically, but she was the same Lili when we were younger. So kind and selfless." Irene pointed out.
"Maybe you're right. Still, I'm firm that riding that big motorbike is such an experience." Yeri said as she showed her admiration to the vehicle.
"You have no idea. At first I'm really scared. Thanks to the heavens that Lisa is not a reckless driver. She's gentle to be honest. I can carry a cup of coffee without a lid and not even a drop will spill." Irene grinned.
"You're exaggerating, even if she is, the road isn't. Politicians had the money saved on their own pockets instead of fixing that road." Yeri took a harsh bite on her food.
"Hate to admit it, you're right. We have been pleading for school renovations for a couple of months now. Each day had passed, the rooms became not more suitable to be a classroom." Irene clicked her tongue.
"Unnie, is it right that the principal resigned because of the alleged corruption?" Yeri asked curiously.
"It wasn't proven Yeri but Joy have a hunch."
"Must be true. Anyway, I won't be able to get home this coming Friday night. I will cover for my colleague's shift at the cafè." Yeri said and Irene eyed her worriedly.
"You are overworking yourself." Irene said annoyed.
"And to whom I took it from? You. Don't worry unnie, it's not like I'll do something else here at house, I'll just get bored anyway. Besides, it's a shift that extends to weekend so I still have some time to rest." Yeri explained. Although Irene sighed in relief, the worry in her eyes never left.
"We'll have vegetables this entire day so you won't get sick. I'll take in charge of the kitchen." Irene said. Yeri only grinned at her.
"Make some tasty potatoes." Yeri suggested.
"Unnie? I am here. Are you ready?" Lisa shouted from outside. She removed her helmet first to inhale the fresh morning air. It was Monday morning, six a.m to be exact.
"Yes, Lisa. Wait a second. I'll just pack your lunch." Irene shouted. It seemed that she was in hurry inside.
"No pressure." Lisa said.
"I'm good." Irene said and appeared at the door.
"Lis." Irene softly mumbled. She was stunned at Lisa's presence.
"Here's your helmet, unnie." Lisa handed Irene a purple metallic helmet but Irene's gaze was locked into her.
"You go to your office like this?" Irene asked curiously.
"Why?" Lisa raised her left eyebrow.
"I change my clothes before I enter the cubicle." Lisa explained.
"Well, because you look so- uhm, cool." Irene struggled to choose the right word.
"Oh, that's what Chaeyoung told me too, well almost." Lisa said grinning.
