"Your apartment is really nice, Lisa." Irene said amused. Her fingers traced the glass dining table.
"Chaeyoung did most of the arrangement here. She just basically dragged me to this place." Lisa turned on the lights.
Lisa toured Irene at the kitchen, living room, and the mini garden in the backyard. Their place wasn't that big, but it was a cozy apartment with a beautiful view of nature every daylight.
"You wanna see my room?" Lisa asked, an innocent smile plastered on her lips.
Irene looked at her. With a short pause, she opened her mouth.
"Can I shower first?" Irene softly asked.
"Sure. Hmm, go to the left side. I'll bring over the towel and spare clothes." Lisa said with a rush.
"Okay, thank you, Lisa." Irene acknowledged her.
Lisa bit her lip. She held her nape as a habit while thinking about what's the next thing she should do. Her gaze landed at the packs of instant ramen. Irene might feel cold after the shower and probaby is hungry. Lisa started to prepare through boiling the water for ramen and egg.
Once Irene was done, her nose welcomed the scent of her hunger. She almost forgot that she was starving when she had her shower. She didn't get to eat properly back at the campus.
"Ramen?" Irene asked. She was drying her hair with the towel.
"Yes. I figured that you were hungry." Lisa pulled a chair for Irene.
"I appreciate that, Lisa." Irene smiled.
Irene started to eat her food while Lisa continuously refill her bowl. Irene even said it was enough because she's full, but Lisa insisted that she should finish it all.
"Lili, I'm really full. I can't take it anymore." Irene laughed when Lisa made an airplane gesture using the spoon for her to open her mouth.
"Okay. Okay. You brush your teeth, then I'll just wash the plates." Lisa stood up.
"I'll wash the plates." Irene insisted.
"You're tired, unnie. Don't worry about this." Lisa said as she proceeded to the kitchen.
"You're too kind to me now." Irene giggled.
"I am always kind to you. Am I?" Lisa asked playfully.
Irene started to brush her teeth the sametime that Lisa put dish soap on the bowls. They were side by side at the sink. With silly smile on their faces, as if they were happy just to be breathing next to each other.
Suddenly, Lisa's phone rang. The confusion on her face was apparent that it made Irene worried.
"Are you expecting a call?" Irene asked while removing shortly the toothbrush from inside her mouth.
"No, none at all. Uhm- let me see it." Lisa removed her gloves and rushed at the dining table where she left her phone.
After few minutes, Irene was done with brushing her teeth. She continued what Lisa had left off, and she washed the dishes.
"Who was that? Is everything alright?" Irene asked worriedly.
"Unnie, I told you get some rest." Lisa whined.
"Don't worry about me. I'm not that tired."
Lisa leaned her back at the counter as she watched Irene's back. Her eyes couldn't help but stare at Irene's raven hair.
"Is everything alright? Why are you silent?" Irene asked once again.
Lisa cleared her throat.
"It's my manager. Nothing serious." Lisa said.
