Irene was on her way to the comfort room when Jackson appeared in the hallway. He was about to attend once of his meeting outside the school.
"Good morning, Ms. Bae." Jackson greeted the woman.
"Hello, Mr. Wang, Good morning." Irene shyly responded.
"I'm going to be quick." Jackson stopped in front of him.
"Regarding the acquaintance party proposal, I was thinking of removing you as marshall. Would it be okay if I assigned you to find outside judges for the talent search competition and for the decoration as well?" Jackson asked.
"I have swapped you with Wendy, and I already talked to her. She's fine with it." Jackson said, smiling.
"Then I'm fine with it, too." Irene accepted the deviation with their proposal.
"Good to know. I'll keep going now, have a great day."
"Take care!" Irene said as she smiled brightly.
Jackson never failed to put a smile on her face. No wonder why Irene has a happy crush on him. He was always a gentleman. She can remember the first time he saw Jackson as a volunteer. Many years ago, he already captured Irene's attention, but she was too shy to act on it. It doesn't change to this date. She wouldn't still act on it.
She just wonders sometime if she actually talked with him few years ago. Maybe, if she did, they would still be good friends.
"Why are you smiling?" Wendy asked when she saw Irene.
"I'm going to brush my teeth." Irene said instead. Wendy laughed at her flustered reaction, and she decided to let it go.
"Well, I bet Principal Wang already told you about the change in designated tasks." Wendy said, and Irene only nodded her head.
"Are you really fine about it?" Irene asked.
"Of course. I'm not good with designs anyway." Wendy simply shrugged.
"Okay, I thought you agreed because you didn't have a choice." Irene sighed in relief.
"A human is never out of choice, even if you feel like there's only one because of the difficult situation. You just have to get in touch with your soul to make the right choice." Wendy said, smiling.
"Uhm, Wendy, I just asked you if you willingly agreed. I didn't know you had a little poet in you." Irene said, laughing lightly.
"Aish! Remember that. It will be useful." Wendy palyfully rolled her eyes.
"Lili, are you free this Friday night?" Irene asked. Her hands were snake in Lisa's stomach. They were riding a motorbike on Irene's way home.
"Yes, unnie." Lisa replied. She was a bit nervous. Is Irene going to ask her for another dinner night? However, she can't read Irene's intention because of the monotonous tone from the mic of their helmets.
"Can you consider being a judge on our talent show competition? The students are having their acquaintance party." Irene said shyly.
"What time would it be?" Lisa asked.
"The party will start at six, and then it will probably end before ten in the evening." Irene said after thinking.
"Sure. I would love to." Lisa said. She didn't hear Irene saying a thank you but she felt that Irene hug her tighter. The feeling wasn't even suffocating. It was plainly what she exactly needs.
I could get used to this.
Your body is so warm.
Whoever had that thought have bright smiles on their face right now.
