Chap. 25 An angel

Azure POV:

I wake up as I began to start stretching...I felt a soft warm breathe on my scales and I see the human....I smile gently at them still a bit tired...Finally I have a friend I thought...I decided to make something for the human since they must be really hungry....I was looking around the kitchen in my cabinet's and I found no food!...Oh right I ate it all last winter....I yawn again as I felt someone squirming at bit in my hold... I look back at the human and she seemed surprised as she made a small eep sound.....I give her a small smile...."Good Moring y/n.."She looked back at me and smiled a bit 'Umm...good morning...azure.."

She said quietly...."Umm do you want to come with me to find food?,....and since your my new friend I didn't want to cage you up here while I'm gone..." She looked a bit confused as she said "Sure...I'll go with you.:"....then looked around and gasped a bit when she saw a huge Skelton mermaid in the corner...."Oh don't worry about that dude....I found him washed up on a beach...and well. Decided to take him to my house for a new friend!....But he doesn't seem to talk much...but he's very good at listening I'll tell ya that...heheh..." She looked at me in a bit of a sad way...I didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable so I decided that we should leave already...

"Alrighty friend....Let's get going...and trust me you going to love  the beach...it's so nice and relaxing there..." I saw her eye's light up with joy..."There's a beach?...I umm...I thought you found the mermaid Skelton on one of your journey's to a beach?...I never knew there was one here.." I just giggle a bit at her...."Yes I did find him on one of my journey's never on this beach though.." I still had my tail wrapped around her as I was slithering out of the house...as we were leaving the house I couldn't help but feel like me and the human would be great friends...I took her into the forest and unwrapped my tail from her gently...I mean if she really did wanted to leave she I would probably quickly get her back....and plus she doesn't seem like she wants to do such a thing anyways...

once I did that she looked rather confused..."Your probably wondering why I'm letting go of you...and well it's quite simple...the reason is because I trust you enough to the point where you won't run away from me..." I give her a warm smile and she smiles back...I then proceeded to gently take her hand and guide her towards a pot..."This is a place in the forest where I cook...I usually just cook berries and stuff...sometimes mice...but eh....I'm going to cook you breakfast friend!..since this is the first time in a long time since I had talked to someone...well...someone who would respond to me while I was talking ehehe...." She looked at me and gave me a warm smile...

"Well..thank you for doing this for me...you really don't have to..." I wave my hands in the air "no no it's fine really!...plus I kinda like cooking I find it rather fun and easy...hehe..." I quickly but carefully move my tail underneath her making her fall anto my tail..."Don't worry....and here have a seat...I didn't want you to sit on the dirty grass...."Umm...Thank you...." I started gathering things and found some berries and fruits..."No problem friend.." Then I felt something hug my tail...I look back and see the human hugging me...I couldn't help but feel all warm and fuzzy...man...I never had a real friend before....is this what it feel like...I could feel my face heat up...well it feels....really nice....I started to place all the ingredients in the pot as I use some firewood and my magic to heat it up...then we both waited for it to be done cooking...

once it was done I grabbed a bowl and a wooden spoon and gave it to the human..."here try this I promise you this will taste amazing!" She sat up and seemed to be a bit intimidated by what I was giving her, but she took it and thanked me anyways...the she took a bite..."mmmmh! this taste amazing...your cooking skills are really great!" I gave her smile proud that she enjoyed my cooking as I felt that same strange fuzzy feeling...Friendship feels great!....after we were done eating...I see her get up and I quickly slither towards her as I take her hand...."Come on! let's go to the beach.." I guide her towards the beach as I allow her to sit on my tail again...we were watching and listening to the waves...I had an idea...I decided to pull out my soul....and I felt her jump a little and looked a bit worried at me....
