010 "𝐇𝗼𝐩𝐞"

The next day was a Saturday. Kaz and Oliver didn't normally come to work, unless directed otherwise. Most times they didn't, and Evelyn decided to go on break and head to the domain.

Once she got there, she didn't see Kaz, just Oliver reading a comic book. For some reason, this disappointed her.

That reason was because she had decided to take that trial run. She was going to tell Kaz and Skylar.

"Um, hey, where's Kaz?" She asked.

Oliver sighed as he flipped through his book, "He's sick. Caught the flu."

"Oh, well I'm gonna go back to Mighty Med then." She said. The only real reason she came was to talk to him. Oliver was her friend, but she preferred sharing things with Kaz.

"Gee, thanks." He said, "I might as well go with you."

They both got back go Mighty Med and Evelyn saw Skylar.

Evelyn pulled her into the rec room. "So, I'm gonna take that trial run." She said with a smile.

"What, that's great!" She replied, giving her a hug.

She went into her room to dig up her old superhero suit. For once, seeing it made her smile again. She was exited to try again.

She didn't know when it would be, just whenever they needed them. But either way, she was exited.

She made sure her suit looked good and didn't just toss it on the ground.

Something about her was really positive. Maybe she would get along with her parents again. Maybe it could be like a family again. Maybe the reason she's so positive is because of Kaz helping her out this whole time.
