001 "𝐏𝐫𝗼𝐥𝗼𝐮𝐠𝐞"

Six months into the past, fourteen year old Evelyn was getting into an argument with her parents in the middle of a mission. Her trusty older sister, Phoebe, would attempt at breaking it up. She had a nice a positive personality, but sometimes made things worse.

"I hate you!" The fourteen year old yelled. "Let me do what I want with my life!"

"We're your parents!" Finn yelled. He was known as the superhero Instructo. He was invincible and couldn't feel a bit of pain, well, physically.

Megahertz walked closer to them. "Well well well, should I come back later or embarrass you now?" He mocked.

"Shut up!" Evelyn yelled, and then shot an energy blast at full strength, weakening her a bit.

Phoebe went to stand next to her, allowing her younger sister to use her as support. She then used a fire ball on him, forcing him to fall.

Their mother was known at The Icicle. Her main power was to manipulate water and ice. She created rapid snowballs that shot right at him. "Eve, you are so irresponsible!"

Evelyn got hit by Megahertz. Her mother also can create a forcefield. Phoebe helped Evelyn up, and almost got hit, but her mother helped them. "I'm irresponsible! When? And that beats a grown adult being so immature to where they don't save their own daughter!" She coughed to gesture to Alexis. "I could have died!"

"It's karma! And for you information, you're irresponsible every day!" She yelled. Evelyn started to tear up. "Remember last Tuesday? When you lost your job?"

She looked at Phoebe. They both know the real story. They had the same job and both lost it, for the same reason. The parents just wanted reasons to hate their youngest. "You didn't bring us!" She started breaking out while her sister comforted her. Alexis has a force field around them, which is only both of them because Phoebe was holding her crying sister next to her.

" 'Us'? What do you mean! You got fired because you were a bad employee! Just like you're a bad hero! And 'the communicator'? Pfft." Alexis scoffed, while only blaming Evelyn.

"She came up with that name," Evelyn whispers. "You know what?" She talks to everyone again. "I'll just leave, we go home, I pack, and go! How's that sound, Alexis and Finn?" She asked, saying their first names just to make them angry.

"Fine, you're a failure anyway!" Finn yelled, while his wife scoffed and nodded in agreement.

The young girl packed and left the house, not even having a ride. She had to walk around Philadelphia. She went into what seems like a totally normal hospital. But it happened to be Mighty Med.

She knows of this place because of all the times she's gotten injured fighting villains.

After making a deal to live in an extra room in exchange for her working there, she unpacked.

That was the day she changed her life.
