                          Justin POV

I stood facing the wall with my nose pressed on the quarter for what seemed like an eternity but was only fifteen minutes. By the end of it my nose, arms, and feet ached like crazy. I prayed that was the end of my punishment and to my relief it was.

During that time my brother tried to call Pete and Jan.  I mean our mom and dad. Again there was no answer which was no surprise. They were probably out having a good time not giving a second thought about us.

Jason left the number of the hotel asking them to call us. I highly doubted that we would hear from them.

Jason then sat on the bed and turned on the television while I sat at the table. He asked me what I wanted to watch which I replied I did not care.

After all it was Saturday night and the only thing on was tv movies and reruns of shows from the sixties and seventies on the UHF channels.

They hotel's cable did not even have HBO or Showtime. What kind of motel did not have HBO or Showtime? A cheap one that is.

Though whatever Justin choose I better enjoy. I won't be getting many chances to watch television when we get to the college. For whatever reason this odd college that he decided to take us does not allow undergrads to have televisions in their rooms.

I could not even fathom why that had that rule. It seemed pretty stupid to me. And I don't know why Jason ever decided to go to a college with such a crazy rule.

That's a lie yes I do.

Because this was the school that Regina's parents decided to send her to.  And since she was going there he had to attend too. Which meant I had to attend the high school that was connected to the college.

And thanks to my brother's hormones I'm going to be deprived of television for the next four months.

Unless we make friends with a grad student or go to a motel to watch television.

But they probably have rules against that too so I doubt that will be an option.

I hope my parents remember to record Night Court for me.

My brother flipped around the five channels that we were able to get and to my delight Commando was airing on NBC instead of one of their made for TV movies. Excitement filled me as Jason choose to watch that.  It was one of my favorite movies.

Plus I had a bit of a crush on Rae Dawn Chong.

After the movie my brother announced it was time for bed which I did not argue.  I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. I walked back into the room to see a look of disappointment across Jason's face. Butterflies filled in my stomach as I wondered what I did. I then realized it was not directed at me.

Our parents never called.

No surprise there.

I could tell my brother was upset about it. I wanted to say something to comfort but before I could get it out he said let's get to sleep and then settled into bed.

Once again I  questioned where I would sleep. He again gave me choices of the bed, floor, or bathtub.

And then added the car which I quickly said no thanks to.

I then decided on the bed which was more comfortable then the other options.  I got into bed and then laid head to toe with my brother.  "Good night."

"Good night." Jason said as he turned the light off.

My brother soon drifted off to sleep while I stared into the darkness pining away for my old life and dreading my new one.
