                         Justin POV

We pulled up to the west gate of the campus around four o'clock.  The campus was surrounded by a ten foot tall chain link fence. I had expected there to be barbwire covering the fence and armed guards standing at the gate.

To my surprise and relief there were not.

Justin spoke to the guard working at the front gate who looked just a couple of years older than Justin.  He waved us through and then went to talk to the car pulled up behind us.

My stomach began to tie into knots as we passed through the gates. The words abandon all hope ye who enter here went through my mind. I looked at my brother and had the urge to tell him that it was not too late for us to leave. Beg him to turn around and get as far away from the place as quickly as possible.

But I kept my mouth shut. As long as his girlfriend was attending here he was going to go here. And Regina's parents were not going to allow her to go anywhere else.

My only hope was for them to break up. But I really did not want to do that.  I liked Regina and it would kill my brother if that ever happened. And I loved my brother too much to wish that to happen.

Just don't tell him I said that.

As we drove onto that a one story white building was on our left side. It had the words Morrison Lecture Hall across the front in large black letters. Across from it was the administration building was which was a two story brick building.  The word administration building was across the front in silver block letters.

We pulled into the parking lot that had three other cars in it.  I had expected to be told to wait in the car again but he told me to get out.

He placed his hand on my back as we walked through the sliding doors. I have to admit I was shocked at the sliding doors. I thought they would be too high tech for such a rinky dink little college.

We walked up to the information deck which was manned by a guy in his early twenties wearing a dark blue suit and a paisley tie.

"Welcome to Pine Coast College." The twenty something year old of African American descent said cheerfully. A little too cheerfully for my taste. His silver name tag identified him as Ronald. "How can I help you."

"We're Jason and Justin Coleman and we are checking in." He patted me on the back.

"Jason and Justin Coleman." He said as he walked over to a bin and then grabbed two large envelopes. "Here you go." He handed us the red and blue envelopes which had our names and the word welcome packets written on them.

"Thank you." Jason said.

"You will find your room and  mail box assignments inside." Ronald told us.

I opened the envelope to find a welcome letter, a copy of the rule book, a card that my information written on it, and a free pen.

"By the way he needs a hair cut." Ronald said to Jason.

"Excuse me?" I said confused.

"Your hair is touching the tops of your ears."  Ronald said. "That is a violation of the rules you will have to get it cut."

"What." I said in shock as touched my hair. "That is..."

Jason placed his hand on my shoulder silencing me. "I'll take care of it."

"See that you do before noon tomorrow or he will be written up." Ronald said.

"I will." He then turned me around to face the doors and said "Let's go."
