#101 You are sick

I am going back to my roots for my 101st preference! Oh gosh, I should've done this for my 100th preference, anyways, I hope you enjoy this!

Ages: 8-13

Harry: (Age 12): You woke up with a very sore throat.

But today, there was a math test and you didn't want to miss it.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Harry asked you when you went down for breakfast.

"I'm *coughs* fine." You said while coughing.

"Y/n, you sound like you have a bad cough." Harry said.

You cleared your throat.

"Hazza, I'll be fine." You said.

"Okay. But if you feel worse, call me. I'll be right there." He says.

You nodded.

At school

You were drained but you managed to get through the first class.

And then you went to the next class and while you were taking the test, you were feeling dizzy.

"Y/n, are you alright?" Your teacher, Mrs. Rose. asked.

"I feel dizzy." You said.

She handed you a hall pass and you walked to the office.

"Can I lie down?" You asked the nurse.

The nurse nodded and you went over to the bed thingy in the room.

"I will call your brother." She said.

A few minutes later, your brother arrived.

"Harryyyyy." You said, weakly.

He went over to you.

"Oh y/n, babe, you look really sick." He said.

"I feel awful." You said.

"How about we go home and watch a few movies?" He asked.

You nodded.

"Great idea." You said.

You two cuddled on the couch and watched movies all day.

Liam (Age 13): It was 12:42 am yet you were throwing up.

Liam and Ruth and Nicola and your parents were still asleep but you wanted your brother.

"Liam!" You croaked out.

He was there in less than a minute.

"Oh y/n. Are you sick?" He asks.

You nodded.

He rubbed your back.

"You can sleep with me in my bed, okay?" He asks.

You nodded.

"I love you, Li." You said.

"Love you too." Liam said.

He cleaned you up.

You began to sneeze and cough.

Liam hugged you and kissed your forehead in an attempt to calm you down.

He carried you to his room.

"I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth, cause it's you, oh it's you, it's you they add up to, I'm in love with you." Liam started to sing. "And all your little things."

Niall (Age 10): When it comes to being sick, you were cuddly and demanded attention 24/7.

And today was one of those days.

"NIALL!" You yelled and immediately grimaced.

Niall rushed into your room.

"Are you okay, y/n??? I heard a scream." Niall said.

"My throat hurts." You said.

He then went to get a thermometer.

You cuddled your pillow as he did that.

"Alrighty, I'm just gonna check your temperature." He says like he's a doctor.

He did that and said: "101. Y/n, you are definitely sick."

You groaned.

He pretty much just cuddled you the whole day.

Louis (Age 11): Your brother was sick for a few days and he just got better.

But today, you woke up with an extremely bad headache.

"I can't be sick." You said to yourself. "This is a bad time to be sick, I am going on a field trip to the water park."

You were really looking forward to this field trip for months.

You went downstairs.

"Hey Lou, are you feeling better?" You asked.

Louis sneezed and said: "I still have a stuffy nose. But I'm feeling a lot better now."

He then looked at you.

"Are you feeling okay, y/n?" He asked.

You nodded.

"Just a headache, I'll be fine for the field trip." You said.

He took a thermometer and stuck it in your mouth. 

He took it out.

"Oh dear, babe, you have a 101-degree fever. I'm afraid you can't go to the waterpark today." He said.

You groaned.

"It's okay y/n. We'll have fun here!" He says.

You smiled.

"Then let the fun begin." You said.

Zayn (Age 8): You got sick once a year. Same for me until last year, I got sick 3 times last year and it was not fun.

And you haven't gotten sick this year so when you woke up with a sore throat, you weren't surprised.

But you still felt miserable.

You groaned as you turned the light on.

"Y/n?" Zayn asked. "Get up kiddo, it's time for school."

You groaned in response.

He felt your forehead for a fever.

"Y/n, your warm." He said.

"I feel like I'd been hit by a semi truck." You replied.

"I'm gonna take a sick day off of work to take care of you, alright?" He asked.

You nodded.

A few days later, you took a sick day off of school to take care of him.
